I love the respect in this one. Damn that elbow was fcked,but Kin was pretty calm about it^^. I still think that Zelg is a fighter with a huge amount of potential.

I fucking hated the Croatian after the fight ended. Why the fuck is he celebrating as if he won a title or something? I would hate to win in that way, it was a freak accident and the Japanese dude broke his arm.

OUCH! Just a simple throw, but unfortunately, he obeyed a basic rule and attempted to brace himself with his arm.

I did the same thing (accidentally) in a wrestling match…………did a simple hip toss/throw and the guy put his arm out to minimize the damage, which actually worsened it, by breaking his arm in three different places. I have to admit, I felt pretty bad that such a thing happened in a wrestling match. I even visited him the hospital. LOL

I did this to myself last October. It was during a sweep, both of us from our knees/sprawl and my elbow did the same thing to a lesser extent. I couldn’t use it for weeks and wasn’t back grappling well for months and still have a weak arm over 6 months later. That is a sickening injury. Think about it this way, an arm bar is going to hyperextend or dislocate your elbow (not so common to actually break) and this was a complete opposite extension. He’s going to have a lot of issues for a long time. NOTE TO SELF: DON’T BASE ON AN EXTENDED ARM, KEEP THAT SUCKER BENT!

1. Zelg was very respectful and offered to rematch him. Very honorable.
2. Yeah, it was bad, you could hear it snap. Those of us who have ever injured an elbow, shoulder, knee etc…know it stays with you. You might recover, but once you hurt a joint like that it’s never %100 again.
3. Good Jiu Jitsu? WTF you talkin bout. Jits never even came into play here. Nice hip toss though….(sweeps and tosses are based largely in the Judo discipline)
