Damn son! Edwards did some Matrix move. I have never seen that before.What was great is when he landed it he still landed on his feet. That’s skill he should take up skateboarding, he kept his balance well, and landed an ollie. I’m not much of a skateboarder , but I know my crap. Obviously edwards knows his own versatility. Bring more of that young fella , and you’ll get matches, and money and ……hoes? I’m Ron Burgandy?

Wow, you can hear the “crack” sound as his knee bone smacked Berto in the noggin. I don’t know, Berto has trouble beating upper echelon fighters, maybe he’ll do better in boxing like his brother who I think is the only fighter that can beat Mayweather.

Good to see Yves get back on track. EliteXC standups are horrible, it shows a lack of respect for the sport, its not sloppy kickboxing.

Zescape’s right, that was just like that Faber-Curran fight, but I think this one was roughly 3x as bad – this one actually knocked the opponent out because he caught it on the button, whereas Curran caught it on the chin. Definitely stunned him, but not the right spot to do what it did to Edson Berto.

Both great, great strikes from technically superb fighters.

Moron… maybe you were to busy jerking of to Urijah that you failed to notice that he did NOT knock out Jeff Curran with his attempt at a knee from that position.
So yes it was actually a new move in the sense that this was the first time it actually worked.

My point was that the commentators said it was a new move. It was not a new move, because it was used in December. I never said that Urijah Faber knocked someone out with it. And Jake, if you actually knew what you were talking about, you’d know that when Faber used it, it stunned Curran and led to the end of the fight.

Ok, I did say it knocked him out. My mistake. It did connect though, and led to a submission. Therefore, my point is valid, and it was not a new move.
