Wanderlei Silva in his prime. Great aggresion and brutality. I predict that he’ll bounce back from his last 3 fights with a knockout over Keith Jardine. Then hopefully after another win or two he’ll get a title shot at either 185 or 205. I love watching this guy fight!

Well wanderley kicked many japs ass while on pride. But Wand must comprehend he cant exchange punches and kicks with everybody, when he fought somenone bigger (like Cro Cop and MArk Hunt) he got ktfo and when faced someone with higher reach (like Chuck Liddel)he found serious difficulties and eventually lost in judges scorecard. I wanna see a rematch

ye ye Quinton played wolfie while he could the second beating was on its way towards him… But i think re-re-rematch between them would be great.

1- Wanderley kicks Chuck ass for the first time

2- Wanderley kicks Quniton’s ass for the (1, 2…) 3rd Time!

Wanderlei is a shaved gorilla masquerading as a man, hell of a fighter though. I hope he destroys Keith Jardine at UFC 84 - he needs to get back on the win column and show why he was able to go undefeated in almost 20 fights in a row. I’m also happy to see that head stomps are a thing of the past… A fighter could be severely injured.

wandy is so over rated, he has not won aganist any top guys except for sakuraba but not at his prime and rampage but rampage is much better now. Wandy lost to belfort, tito, liddel, crocop, hunt, hendersen. he should move down to 185 and let anderson destroy him because he has no chance at 205 anyway, way too small for the ufc, he can only beat up the japs because they are smaller!

Pride was awsome… but ive never liked that rule…about kicking or headstomping a down opponent… only a coward kicks someone on the ground so thats why i never liked that rule… stomps or no stomps, Wanderlei is still one the best in the world

3 minutes of stand up, two seconds of clinching, 1 jab, equals a great fight. Who cares if Wanderlei only beat up on japanese,(kondo is no can by the way) look at the way he beats them up. Who do we see fight like that now or even back in prides roid era? i beeing a fan of wanderlei realize he may not be the top 205LB but who cares, hes fun to watch fight. I believe he is still as agressive as ever, his style is more technically sound now, more jabs, controlled pace. wanderlei is absolutely still a force to be reckoned with. Oh jardines going to kick his ass by the way in case you guys wanted to know

Ace, your an idiot. Do us all a favor, go to wikipedia or sherdog, and look at wanderlei silva record. Hasn’t fought any top competitors? Most of the *big names* you shot out of people he lost too, were either above his weight class, or losses he took many years ago. He lost via highly disputed decision to mark hunt, a huge upset loss to belfort many many years ago, which im sure he could easily rectify, cro cop, who was considered the best striker in pride in the heavyweight class (wand is light heavy), and he beat henderson the first time they fought. So… if you can’t back up your statements with facts, shut the fuck up.

There’s a time to wing em and a time to sting em. Wandy never learned that. Jardine outscored Chuck with precise well timed shots. Wanderlais wildness is why he lost to Cro Cop and Chuck. (Dan would have beat him either way) They say styles make match ups, well…..looks like Wanderlai has another loss comin his way. Unless he can settle in, counter intelligently and don’t go into mauler mode unless Jardine is hurt/stunned/winded. Don’t see it happening though. Don’t care who wins, it’s going to be a DAMN GOOD FIGHT!
