Yeah, Beebe might wanna think about hanging them up or taking a year off or something – 5 straight losses is gonna damage your confidence in a big way. Sure, he was the WEC Bantamweight champ, but he only defended it successfully one time before Torres took away. Torres beat Maeda, and now Maeda has beaten Beebe.

I thought Beebe looked pretty comfortable and Maeda pretty frustrated from Beebe’s guard. Both were landed good shots on their feet, but Beebe was landing good ones from his back, while Maeda barely got anything moving.

Then Beebe made a rookie BJJ mistake and Maeda seized on it. A decent fight for Beebe but completely ruined it for himself and made Maeda’s night. Enjoyable fight anyway, liked the class between the fighters at the end.

Nice catch by the referee lol Wow Maeda has a really dangerous left high kick and right low kick, he snaps them so quickly. His movements are very fast and accurate, whether it be jiu jitsu or stand-up, looks like he is a very polished fighter.

The ref jumped in at the right time. Beebe was in the process of getting choked unconscious. Check out his reaction when he gets up. It looks like a short seizure.

Hmm, I’m like the cage format. Rings are for stand up fighting. I’m sure Dream is going to be hearing from the ring jockey union since this is going to put them out of a job. (Ring jockeys I think that’s what they’re called, are those dudes that stand outside the ring that slap fighters hands when they hold the ring, pull on the rings to prevent fighters from getting tangled on them, and generally just keeps the fighters from falling out.)

The way Maeda gave his mouth piece to the ref is gif-worthy! :D

Yeah, that was pretty amazing – slams the mouthpiece down on the ground and the ref catches it on the bounce :)

Why didn’t Beebe’s manager tell him that it was OK to juice? Obviously someone told Maeda.
