IBF and WBO champion Wladimir Klitschko (52-3, 47 KOs) also tries for the Ring Magazine heavyweight title as he goes against Ruslan Chagaev (25-0-1) Saturday before 61,000 fans in Germany.

doubt timmy could make a run for the title. he got blasted by mercer, didnt really show any footwork and can be stated as sluggish on the feet. all tim would be able to do is load up on his right.

Dude, if you are serious about Tim S. being able to hang with Klitschko (or Chagaev) you are F’ing delerious! I don’t even know why I’m responding to such an irrational comment, but how could Big Timmy, a guy who gets out-classed on the feet by a 48 year old Ray Mercer as well as Fedor and Randy C. (who both have limited boxing experience), tell me, how could he compete with a guy who has over 10 yrs. of top-level boxing experience, a guy who was an olympic boxing champion, a guy with 47 KO’s, who has a record of 52-3?

No MMA fighter would ever stand up to a boxing champion in their weight class just like no boxer would ever stand up with an MMA champion in their weight class. It is two different sport you retard. Have you lost your freaking mind? Boxing simplistic? I doubt you have ever put on a pair of gloves except for mittens or the ones you posed in for your myspace pictures…. FAG! Boxing is very complexed and is not something someone can just walk in and become a world champion based on size or strength (i.e. Brock Lesnar!). The majority of mma fighters are guys who couldn’t hack it in the pro boxing world, so they went on to something where they can throw big shots with the hope of one landing to end the fight. M.M.A does take skill and talent, but it does not compare to what boxing requires! I am an undefeated pro boxer who is great friends with a ton of mma fighters. I helped train Frank Mir at striking unlimited here in vegas.
