I believe Rosenthal should be suspended for this. I cannot compare this to any comeback fights. Maybe if the last 5 punches hadn’t landed he comes back

Mark Munoz is suspended 45 days with 30 days no contact for TKO loss. Also suspended 180 days or until cleared by physician for left scalp and right eyebrow laceration and possible fractured mandible.

Josh is pretty good, but this one was a little late. It is easy to judge the refs from the outside of the octagon though. Things are different in the heat of the fight, and the refs get judged so easy for stopping to early or waiting to long.

With the millions of dollars that the UFC and Boxing spend on the sport you would think that Athletic Commissions might hire educated highly qualified refs and scorekeepers.

Whenever I see things like this I go back to Shogunhendo fight and the fight where Mir broke Nog’s arm because at one point, Shogun and Mir were completely out of it yet the ref still let them go on and there were no complaints

The Stoppage was late, but I’d prefer a slightly later stoppage to an early stoppage. Rosenthal knows that, so he waited a little longer then he should have. Munoz is fine, move on.
