Sakuraba is my favourite fighter of all time. There’s so much of a build up in this fight and the ending is so hard for me to watch. Some fighters just don’t match up well against other fighters. Saku was doing well in the second fight though until that slam broke his collar bone.

Sakuraba is one of the most overrated fighters in MMA. most of these Japanese fighters never fight any real comp.

That’s how you drop a mufuka. Wandy is known for loopy ass sloppy power punches. He KO’d Saku with a good straight 1-2 here. In the first fight that’s what he dropped Hendo with too. (even though he popped right back up) It’s interesting that Wanderlei only throws straights when he’s completely dominating. He’s obviously got the power and the Muay Thai experience. He needs to be trained on how to use those straights in a balls out brawl. (like the one he had with Chuck Lidell) His opponents expect him to duck his head and start throwin hooks. If he were to take a step back and throw the 1-2 like he did here it could really take his game to the next level.

Sakuraba was never overrated!! He beet atleast 3 gracies if my memory serves me right. Sakuraba was the Jorden of mma because of the show that he would put on!! Miss him, although seeing wanderlei phuck him up is always worth the time

I can’t believe the people that called this fight “total domination”. To me, domination would be pounding your opponent around the ring and having them at your mercy before you knock him out. This fight was pretty much even before that 1-2 by Wandy at the end. Saku was landing some really nice clean shots. He was probably just behind Wandy on the score cards before Wandy’s fight-ending combination. It was a good fight. Wandy just threw a perfect 1-2 and that was what won it.

I’m actually going to pick Jackson to win the fight against Wandy. Rampage is always improving. I think Rampage only loses fights in his head. I actually think he may be one of the strongest, most talented fighters in the world. His brain just shuts off sometimes. Jackson should have won his fight against Sakuraba. He was too strong for him. He lost the fight in his head.
