I think if Wand loses this fight he may as well pack it in and call it a great career.

I however have faith that a guy his calibre is not going to stay down much longer and Jardine may get his ass kicked like never before.

I think the UFC will definitely give Silva the title shot if he wins here, it’s the fight Rampage desperately wants, and it’s one that the fans want.

YAKBARWASH I know Wandy is 31 years old, it has nothing to do with age, it has everything to do with mileage. Jardine is the same age as Wandy and Lidell is older, but neither guy has been in the game as long as Wandy.

Let’s face it this guy won a Vale Tudo (bare knuckle) tournament in Brazil when he was 21 years old. His style is not one that leads to a long career and it’s a testimony to how tough this guy is that he’s lasted this long. Anyone who’s watched him over the years knows he fights one way, straight at you gun slinging and what happens happens.

How many fighters out there are exciting enough to have a major motorcycle manufacturer endorse a motorcycle edition after them? As far as I know Wandy is the only one as Honda and Yokohama teamed up for a special Wanderlei Silva edition sold in Curitiba Brazil, Wandy’s home town.

I truly hope he can get back on track, a KO win against Jardine would do wonders, if that happens you may get a shiver up the spines of many 205lb fighters.

Jardine vs Wandy should be a war. If wand gives Jardine space it’s jardines fight (look at the liddell fight). He needs to be his aggressive self and close the spaces just as quick as they’re created. Wandy said it himself that jardine has a “different” style to most which should lead to an exciting fight. Either way, this fights gunna go off!!! Love Wandy but in my opinion Jardines style is going to win him the fight.
