I’m not a Wanderlei fan as a person, but there’s no denying he’s one of the most dominant to ever fight.

Matsui showed lots of heart, major respect goes to him for going to a decision.

thats wanderlei in his prime, i still think he can beat liddell ortiz and belfort and the REAL MMA rules, with stomps and soccer kicks like in pride, i mean that was his main weappon,
it’s like not allowing chuck liddell to throw an overheand or a hook, wanderlei loses in UFC is bullshit, PRIDE 4EVER

I like both of these fighters. Wandy speaks for himself, but I’ve really liked Matsui since I saw his fight against Pele. He was a big underdog, and very nearly got knocked out in the first round. But he persevered, and using some very unorthodox tactics, he came back and won an exciting decision. The guy’s nearly impossible to stop! Wandy gave him some of the most brutal knees you’ve ever seen and he kept coming.
