Man are those Vale Tudo fighters ever tough! No rounds, bare knuckles and head butts. I’m surprised they don’t have a metal chair in each corner that the fighters can use in the ring.

Wandy got a tough break there as he dominated that fight, the irony here is the cut was caused by his first head butt on the other guy.

After watching Vale Tudo and Meca fights in Brazil, there’s no wonder why so many of the worlds top fighters come from there.

What a statement! Yeah he lost to Chuck when he was at his rock bottom probably doubting himself for the first time in his life after two ko losses. He lost to a 290 lb Mark Hunt who many in the mma world thought was sheer robbery, Wandy stood toe to toe with a big time bomber there. He lost to Vitor 10 years ago when Vitor was at his best, and if you watch that fight closely I thought it was stopped early. He lost to Cro Cop as the only non Heavyweight in Prides open weight tournament and then loses to Henderson only a few hours after being released from the Hospital with a serious case of strep throat.

Not a very convincing argument, the guy is only 31 years old and I will not be surprised if he goes on a tear now that he has his confidence back. If I were in the 205lb division, he’d be the one I’d be most concerned of.

How can you make a statement like Wandy isn’t Champion material or top 5 in his division? Are you nuts? The guy is going to go down as one of the greatest mma fighters in the history of the sport. He dominated the 205lb division for years and had something like a 22 fight win streak going until recently.

The guy is a freakin monster and brings it all when he steps into the ring.
