When I was watching Wanderlei fight in Pride I would never of thought he was such a nice hearted man. One really cant judge a book by its cover..Thank you Wanderlei for talking honestly about lifes internal struggles and congrats on a fine performance.

@GrapplingJ: Agreed, but I am happy that he used his head in this fight for something other than get punched. He is a beast, but he needs to keep fighting smart and use his elbows and knees. If he does that, he might have a few good years of high-level fights ahead of him.

he did a few things different in this fight.he didnt bull rush in and just go for the ko.he took his time picked his shots and then at the right time went in with knees and knew when to back away.thats why he won,just like fedor vs monson same thing.if a fighter always does the same thing then he is easy to prepare for,switch it up.
