It’s just awesome to see a real master explaining very basic things like Anderson showing the elbows and the step-in jab. If Wanderley listens to him he will have a chance. Wandy needs to fight smart. He is much better and has much more technique than he has demonstrated in his later fights. I thought that after the Bisping fight he would have learned that he can actually benefit from his experience.

…I saw Cung Le live at his fights with Scott Smith…He. Was. Awful. I was shocked, I’d been hearing about him all these years, see pictures of his kicks, etc…I could not believe how bad he looked. Honestly…I’ve got the Axe-Murderer on this one…

These guys had a falling out since AS was not getting any fights in Pride and a lot of that had to do with Wandi and his camp at the time after A.S. was kicked out or there was a falling out and he had left. So A.S. was pretty much an outcast. The promoters naturally needed to keep their stars happy so they went along with the request. He was gonna quit fighting but Big Nog befriended him and encouraged him not to stop. The rest is (also) history. Now, knowing what I just said, watch the video again and look at Wandi’s reaction as Silva talks so highly of him. I think the guilt is clearly evident.

their fall-out/misunderstanding happenend when Wand was in the UFC & decided to drop to 185lbs…it doesn’t take much for Anderson to feel disrespected by his fellow Brasileiros..he expects more respect from his countrymates it seems…but it was awesome to see them train, but if Wanderlei gives Cung Le the space/distance to set up those kicks, he’s going to be retired via pinata kick to the head

They did have some minor issues in the past just like andybdabaddest described. I also believe that AS doesn’t mind helping Wandy now that he knows that Wandy won’t be a threat for his belt. I never thought that Wandy could do something against AS in the UFC, but when he initially moved down to the middleweight division he was talking about challenging AS if he did well and that was one of the reasons why they had some beef with each other.
