i always have been wishing for a Belfort-Wanderlei rematch. i thought we might get one at Pride Real Deal or Kamikaze, but it never materialized. I doubt Belfort will ever be back to the UFC so it looks like it will never happen

Belfort’s problem is his head. He’s not always there mentally, and it affects his performance.

Vitor’s problem is that he lets his personal life get into his head when hes training or fighting… Unfortunately he has had a hard life… but he is a good fighter and to say he isn’t is bullshiit. I hope he can make it back to the UFC in 185 division with his head in the game.

i hope he’s not juicing now. i.e. chris benoit… that’s the last thing vitor needs, he’s psyche won’t be able to handle it, you know with the lose of his sister and everything.. i say that because he’s trapezoids are overly huge he hadn’t had that in his early twenties so that’s now muscle mass if this fight is present day.. i just worry for the guy, i wish him the best though…

Yeah I have to agree Vitor could have been one of the all time greats, unfortunately he was never the same after his sister was kidnapped and murdered.

I can’t imagine the weight he has carried on his shoulders as his sister was kidnapped because he was an MMA star at the time.

I wish him well and only hope he can find his mojo again, he’s one of my all time favourites.

Vitor is a great striker obviously and he can take a punch, too. Remember his fight against Heath Herring who outweight him by at least a Gary Coleman? Vitor took some serious knees and still won the fight on decision…he’s tough as nails, one of my fav’s ever since i saw him KO wanderlei back in the day
