@Murell If you’re thinking it’s a race thing, HELL NO! Actually I love GSP, he’s from my hometown and I don’t really believe that he doesn’t try to finish, (tried submitting Hardy, he just couldn’t do it).

I do think Fitch is boring, and a point fighter, but I don’t have anything against him. I hate Sonnen because he says racist & offensive s*** to try to hype a fight. But what I hate more is the double standard; people cheer s*** that comes out of his mouth that they would never tolerate from say a fighter like Jon Jones.

As for Black guys backing Sonnen, probably not too many because of the s*** he says.. King Mo is backing him, so there’s one.

How did he “beat” Silva up, when he did virtually no damage to Silva’s face, while Chael’s face looked like minced meat? No, Chael CONTROLLED the fight by taking him down, maintaining top position while throwing 300 pitter patter punches that were not intended to do ANY damage, but rather to look “busy” so the ref wouldn’t stand him up.

Listen, I get that Sonnen lovers are charmed by his mouth, but he is a mediocre point fighter. He doesn’t fight to finish anyone, but just to control them and win on points. GSP and John Fitch get criticized for not finishing, yet the majority of Chael’s wins are via decision. In the ring he is just as “boring” as Jon Fitch, but because he talks so much s***, everybody forgets that..

Bottom line is… he lost. He gave up, which is what tapping out signifies.. he’ll be doing it again on July 7th.

Sonnen’s strength is talking. And it’s working on most of you guys. Other than losing to Silva, his biggest accomplishment was squeaking by Bisping.

Other than that, he’s failed quite a bit. But I think his talk is the best in mma. It’s good enough to get the crowd behind a failed politician, convicted felon, confirmed mma cheater, with a 50/50 record.

He is the best promoter in mma. I personally think he’s great. But I’m not delusional enough to expect him to be conscious at the end of his next fight with Andy. Sorry.

Wow, lot of blind silva huggers on here. The reason people “think” he can beat him down this time is because he already did it the first time, being a couple minutes shy of the win, duh. @Oswald and @Kungfulowkick, if this were a “death match/street fight/etc.” the submission would have likely never happened because he could have easily taken him down/slammed him multiple times on fukcuing concrete and would be KO’d or dead. Get real, I only see two possible scenarios, Silva by submission, or Chael by unanimous decision.

nope. sorry. hate to burst the bubble, but you’re insane if you think Chael is going to win. he’s never really won any big fights. he barely beat Bisping in his last fight. in fact I could see that one going either way. the only reason he looked so good against Anderson the first time is cuz he was juiced out of his skull.

bjj artista and in chael’s career 8 losses via submission doesn’t sound to me like a competent jj artist…but since fanboys of chael make him a standard for entertainment anywhere except in the ring.
