Ortiz is a dirty fighter than got in the ring with a fighter that was way out of his league . He is a liar he lied in the post fight interview when he said he just got caught up in the moment and he didn’t mean to do it. How anybody could criticized mayweather for hitting this little piece of s–t is beyond me. Floyd knew what he was doing and why he did it. He could have gotton up he wasn’t hurt those shots were pay back for what he did not knock out punches. Everybody hates mayweather for personal reasons that doesn’t have anything to do with boxing and quick to fault him. I don’t agree with some of his actions outside the ring but who am I to judge him? Victor Ortiz should be suspended period if it was mayweather people would demand it. There is no way anybody can justify what Ortiz did.

Guys, no use arguing about boxing or MMA being better. They’re different sports, and I think every single martial artist (or in my case, former novice practitioner) should just open up their minds and allow him/herself the enjoyment of each and every combat sport. Boxing has no kicks, MMA has no pure side-stand stance, Muay Thai has no ground grappling… so what? Just learn the different rulesets for the different sports and enjoy, stop missing on great fights just because of unjustified pride. And merry christmas to you all .

@ BlackRazor Boxing for starters is corrupt. Money doesn’t determine the quality of a sport neither. I grew up as a boxing fan, watched it since I can remember. I’m amazed on how you mma guys put down boxing like your some type of higher level sport,or that your an elite sport! Boxing has never been boring, you guys are trying so hard to make MMA a more elite sport than Boxing and that will never happen! When MMA can pay their top guy 25 million for a fight then you have arrived! I find most MMA guys to be slightly ignorant! 80 to 90 of MMA is Boxing! Chuck Liddell boxed, that’s how he won his matches with his boxing 98% of what Chuck did was boxing! The UFC biggest draw was a guy who boxed his way to victory! Randy Cotour boxed, Rich Franklin boxed, Rampage Jackson Boxed, Nick Diaz boxes all these guys box in the majority of their matches! Yet MMA fans down boxing and the sport of boxing! MMA is nice but it will never overtake the Sweet Science! You guys can bitch and moan all you want about boxing, try winning a figt without it! Why do you think they boo when guys go to the ground, cause they want to see someone get KO! Submissions are nice, but KO’s are better! The best MMA fighters all learn how to box Anderson Silva, GSP, BJ Penn, KJ Noons, Frank Shamrock, Chuck Liddell, Coutour, and Diaz. The same idiots argued that Gracie Jiu-Jitsu was really Judo because of the Judo applications when in fact Judo was evolved from Jiu-Jitsu. If you saw the fight Then you know victor was going for the head butt before he actually got caught Landing the head Butt. They tried to cover it up, saying it wasnt intentional, but Im Glad victor set the record straight. The rematch with Berto is a must see.
