Mayweather’s brilliant use of the “Philly shell” defense is very well known. So is Ortiz’ habit of charging fowrd with his head and his reputation for being a quitter despite the outlying Berto fight.

If what Ortiz is saying about Mayweahter’s elbows is true then why doesn’t he bring a formal case against the boxing authorities and try to have the ref sanctioned or disciplined? How hard is it to produce a video of all the elbows that Mayweather allegedly threw at him in the fight?

It seems like he is not serious about the allegations and only wants to complain and collect his money.

I liked Victor before this because although I would like to not only break Mayweather’s nose his neck would not hurt my feeling’s if I broke it and his fathers but trying to do it by an illegal blow is bullshit. That’s just saying that he could not beat him toe to toe so he tried to break his nose so he could not breath and probably swell his eyes up to if he blew it so he could not see properly which is almost A tyson ear bite but worse but both out of desperation and I thought Victor was doing ok so WTF did he need to TRY and break his nose for,then want to kiss,hug,give a god damn reach around for?

for those that doubt…mayweather is well-known for using his elbows and there are videos on youtube highlighting the elbows in this fight. all that matters is that what was looking like a very competitive fight ended in disgrace. FANS LOSE.

I’m amazed on how you mma guys put down boxing like your some type of higher level sport,or that your an elite sport! Boxing has never been boring, you guys are trying so hard to make MMA a more elite sport than Boxing and that will never happen! When MMA can pay their top guy 25 million for a fight then you have arrived! I find most MMA guys to be slightly ignorant! 80 to 90 of MMA is Boxing! Chuck Liddell boxed, that’s how he won his matches with his boxing 98% of what Chuck did was boxing! The UFC biggest draw was a guy who boxed his way to victory! Randy Cotour boxed, Rich Franklin boxed, Rampage Jackson Boxed, Nick Diaz boxes all these guys box in the majority of their matches! Yet MMA fans down boxing and the sport of boxing! MMA is nice but it will never overtake the Sweet Science! You guys can bitch and moan all you want about boxing, try winning a figt without it! Why do you think they boo when guys go to the ground, cause they want to see someone get KO! Submissions are nice, but KO’s are better! The best MMA fighters all learn how to box Anderson Silva, GSP, BJ Penn, KJ Noons, Frank Shamrock, Chuck Liddell, Coutour, and Diaz.
