Honestly does anyone really like to see these cat fights. Log in to Reply dnomyar July 22, 2012 Always grateful to Bruno. Why do fighters [Urijah] not let it all hang out when it’s the only thing left to do. [ if they want to win, or even look like they “really” want it. ] I honestly don’t get it, and it happens time and time again. But it was very heart warming to watch Faber and Barao holding hands. Especially in the fifth round. WTF ! Log in to Reply lastusername July 22, 2012 dude celebrates like a goofy little kid. Log in to Reply Gee July 22, 2012 He’s so happy! =) Log in to Reply sad puppy July 22, 2012 oh well Log in to Reply ultimate fighter July 22, 2012 barao is so damn sexy, he just doesnt take a step back even to dodge shots, just moves forward or stands still firing powershots. I dont quite get it, his striking doesnt look too technical but is still damn effective, will have a tougher test with cruz who wont stand in front of him as much. Log in to Reply stranglerman July 22, 2012 GREAT CAMP ! Log in to Reply mmaforever July 22, 2012 WTF is wrong with this crowd what they are booing??? Booing the whole ****ing fight. North american crowds are soooo shit!!!! Log in to Reply kung fu k9 July 22, 2012 faber afraid of the leg kicks, experiencing PTSD from Aldo… even though i don’t care for cruz, he will take barao by decision via pop shotting him all night… barao didn’t do anything substantial in this fight to impress and both fighters were a disappointment really, yaaaaaaaawner… Log in to Reply Sick Bastard July 22, 2012 Time for Renan to dismantle Cruz Log in to Reply Bokula July 22, 2012 Not sure what all the negativity and booing is all about. Thought it was a great job by Barao of keeping distance from Faber and picking him apart. Urijah had nothing for him. get in the ring or boo yourself Log in to Reply Maximumpain July 22, 2012 Crowd was annoying. Faber faded as he got hurt so he was to afraid to pull the trigger. Even knowing he needed a Ko to win he just wouldn’t risk going all in. Log in to Reply fab July 22, 2012 I loved brandao reaction, man! that made my happy Log in to Reply trsix July 22, 2012 how small do you have to be before you’re officially a midget? Log in to Reply k1superstar July 22, 2012 Barao looked good. Dominick would of owned Urijah, wish i saw that grudge match. Impressed with Barao. Interested to see what dana has to say about this shity card.. which he was so wholeheartingly saying would be killer in his interview with ariel… Log in to Reply Sans July 22, 2012 Not boring, but not exciting. I think Faber’s body type is wrong for the kind of fight he wanted to have. Even at 135 he looks kind of short for his opponents. Obviously he’s in good shape, but he doesn’t look as much like a balanced athlete with seemingly so much weight in his torso. Log in to Reply Zonabay July 22, 2012 Nothing left for Faber but to drop down to 125. Otherwise all he’ll be is a gatekeeper at 145. I don’t see him beating Cruz, I don’t see him beating Barao. Even in a rematch, they have his number. Faber seems to have stalled in his MMA growth. He looks and fights the same as he did 3 years ago. Maybe even 4 years. Thanks for the memories. Log in to Reply southiejimmy July 22, 2012 @mmaforever, so what you are saying is that the consumer (the crowd)should pay top dollar for a product (the fight)and when the product sucks, they are not allowed to express thier opinion.tickets to these events are not cheap, and many fans travel a long distance to go to these fights.expressing opinion doesnt mean they dont understand mma, it means they dont like what they are seeing.maybe where your from , your not allowed to express opinion, but here we are. Log in to Reply Roe Jogan July 22, 2012 1st – Thanks Bruno. ZZZZ….. some of these lighter weight fights are just as boring as boxing and baseball. Log in to Reply samoansopinion July 22, 2012 when you have two really good fighters there not gonna act to crazy no one wants to just get knocked out hahahaha So Besides that the BOOs where unnecessary Understandable as a fan and obviously not for a fighter. But it was a very good technical fight… Something Very Much expected when you are actually good fighters not a swing for the fence fighter… Log in to Reply MMAJerk July 22, 2012 Prolly Booing bc he acted like a retard when he won! Log in to Reply jessiah July 22, 2012 i would like to renan fight in the 155 lb. class he looked a bit too big in there with faber. the cruz fight i think it might be more of a better fight since there wont be any size nor reach disparities. overall this card was somewhat not as engaging everyone who fought seemed to be nervious about their stock and being dropped by the promotion more than anything it seems. some ko’s and subs were good and not taking away from those guys who fought their heart out in the other bouts Log in to Reply Uriah's Chin July 23, 2012 Uriah was fighting with a broken rib from round 1 on. That makes Renan look pretty weak and explains Uriah’s performance. Log in to Reply psxdogg July 23, 2012 The California Kid is the only MF that can give these champions a run for their money Log in to Reply kraziness July 23, 2012 Can’t blame lack of action on size, there are snoozefests in all weight groups. Some of the smaller fighters are the most exciting because they can keep moving for longer. Don’t understand all the booing was about either, both fighters were trying to gain an upperhand, neither was stalling. Log in to Reply mmacri July 24, 2012 Faber obviously has little skills…you can see those little skills being taken apart with someone who actually HAS skills. All faber tries to do is wild punches, fakes and hopes he gets connected…all of his fights…same crap. Log in to Reply jiu-jitsu warrior July 28, 2012 Obviously mmacri makes Log in to Reply jiu-jitsu warrior July 28, 2012 Obviously @mmacri makes little sense, you don’t accumulate 25 wins and hold multiple MMA titles by throwing wild punches and fakes here and there..!!..You sound like another mma wannabe who can only sit back and critique fighters who would down right pound a whole in your ass..!!..But then again you’d probably like your hole getting pounded..!!..
