Chael is a very intelligent guy and does say some outrageous things. BUT it’s entertaining and I personally like it. I understand how it isn’t for everyone and if you don’t like it I think you should stop complaining and just don’t listen to it. It’s really that simple.

His fight record isn’t impressive to say the least and everything he slanders Silva on is totally false. He knows the stuff he says is false yet he says it because he knows stupid people either find it funny or true.
He is making a name for himself by making stupid comments that appeal to stupid people.
There’s a difference in trying to be funny and crossing the line. This isn’t WWE and i’ts not easy to simply ‘ignore’ what he says when he’s fighting someone you follow or on the main card. It’s total BS and you know it but if you truly think its cool then you are part of the lowest common denominator he’s trying to reach.

Chael was funny…at first. He lost me with the “kick in the door and slap Anderson’s wife on the ass…” comment. It’s like a comedian who doesn’t know how to pace his act so he just is more and more of a dick. He also knows it 14:59 in his career. Hopefully Anderson will beat him senseless and we’ll hear less of his name in the years to come…

@nocomeoahu, Silva is not going to knock out Chael. It’ll probably be a close fight but I think Chael is gonna win by decesion. Based on the first fight, I can’t see Silva winning and I don’t buy into that hurt rib bullsh*t that Silva was using as an excuse! No fighter ever trains at a 100%…there is ALWAYS an injury or sickness to deal with…nature of the sport. I’m a Silva fan but he’s gonna lose his title on 7/7…Chael, wants its more…he hungrier…Silva has been sleeping on silk sheets for a long time now.

I like both Chael and Anderson, but to honestly think Anderson Silva is a “runaway bitch”? I don’t get it…Probably what you meant to say is “He’s a true martial artist”. He doesn’t seem to runaway…ever. He feels people out, he matches his physical skill, with his mental skills and anybody with intelligence, can see just how truly impressive he is. A true warrior and a true martial artist. If you think stupid s*** about Anderson Silva, Than you probably think Saddam Hussein was behind 9/11.

Anderson Silva ANGRY is probably more liable to make a mistake than Anderson Silva calm and collected. I think Chael’s trash-talking is two-fold. It increases his marketability, and it creates a psychological advantage in his fight. That being said, I hope he gets his face smashed in by the spider.

i knew sonnen was changing his persona because he was not getting enough money or notoriety but little bits and pieces come through as disrespectful and no matter if its his persona or not it is disrespectful.now a days people think anything can be said at any time and its cool but its really not.some people go to far and are not considerate or respectful.hardly anyone even knows what honor is any more.
