He would have been better off not getting the surgery and letting it heal by itself. Often the ACL reattaches itself but it takes a long time so if you are a greedy bastard of a pro athlete you can’t get back to making money as quickly even though you are already rich. I tore mine and didn’t listen to the a-hole specialist who tried to pop it back out during the exam so I didn’t get surgery and a few years later it was back to normal. I knew a guy who had the same injury around the same time and it was worse than before the surgery. He had to have it scoped, reopened/ reoperated on repeatedly, now he can barely walk without his knee dislocating. Doctors are money grubbing quack butchers, avoid invasive surgery at all costs.

Wow! I can’t wait for these two “Gameplan” fighters to trade jabs and baby leg kicks, while circling around the ring for 25 minutes! Will be a toss-up between this fight and Starnes/Quarry for least strikes landed in a fight. The real question is, can Condit run backwards faster than GSP can run forwards? Ok GSP is a great fighter and I respect him for that, but I wish he would start finishing his fights because I really don’t wanna pay for 5 rounds of noting and I don’t care if your a stand-up guy or a ground & pounder, I just wanna see a finished fight. They say he recreates himself ever time he fights? No he dosent because ever time he fights all he does is some jabs, superman punch then a takedown, that’s not recreating. Georges says he wants to be the best of all time, you have to aleast finish some of your fights for that to happen.

That’s not true, the user “Wow” is actually a millionaire from Belarus. In 1999 he started a small fishing company in Minsk which eventually grew faster economically than most comparable European companies. In 2003 he was already one of the youngest millionaires in Belarus. So he has the bucks to find good therapy.

I agree with LOL. He is a world class athlete using the best therapists he can find. I don’t doubt he has the ability to return in FANTASTIC shape (note, all of his ‘other’ injuries that we may not even know about have surely healed in this time)

IMO the only factor I am worried about is TIME. if he rushes things too much he’s setting himself up for failure. I would almost prefer to not see him until 2013. As long as fighters stop getting popped for PED’s we have plenty of people on the roster to keep occupied.
