Log in to Reply willdabeast February 2, 2012 Welterweight champ GlobalPositioningSystem lol Log in to Reply starcityink February 2, 2012 This was a great interview. Georges is one honest and straight forward guy. Love or hate, either way he deserves respect. He is however guilty of doing one of the things he said he wouldn’t. In his mind Nick wins Saturday and then decides to take a long vacation to wait out GSP’s recovery. By his own logic Condit could easily be his next challenge. I think that whole lot of things need to shake out just right for GSP’s future to be the one he sees. As far as role models are concerned, Carlos is better for the sport and the kids of the world to look up to. I don’t want my kids to be anything like the Diaz posse. War Carlos! Log in to Reply rainbow February 2, 2012 Diaz has successfully got into George’s head. Log in to Reply jessop February 2, 2012 GSP is all bs, he’s just hyping the fight early using words like (Demons, I’m dark) and the fight is not even set yet… this to me says UFC is fixed. Anyone who sells a fight on demons knows his actual skills are not enough, he already knows Diaz is gonna embarrass him. GSP = sellout. Log in to Reply Tg February 2, 2012 Diaz is already in his head Log in to Reply diegoalex February 2, 2012 HE IS A GREAT EXAMPLE. Log in to Reply Sanoli February 2, 2012 Bruno, you got the name of the welterweight champion wrong… Log in to Reply big$ February 2, 2012 he releases his demons in his fights how the effetct him eh????hmmm so his demons hump the ish out him in his dream eh ahahahahahahah!!! Log in to Reply Eyesawake February 2, 2012 I dunno.. I love George, but this whole “believe me, you have no idea how dark I am inside of me” stuff feels almost rehearsed. He’s using the same taglines verbatim in multiple interviews… Just wonder if it may be a bit contrived here. Log in to Reply dieselhead February 2, 2012 Wow, anyone else a little freaked out by all the “demons in the head” talk? Log in to Reply tobes February 2, 2012 Bruno – the title says GPS instead of GSP hehe Thanks for the great website as always Log in to Reply Exeye February 2, 2012 Our welterwight champ is a Global Positioning System? 😉 Log in to Reply Meltface February 2, 2012 Don’t be scared homie. This guy is like a D.A.R.E commercial sounds way to fake. But he is the champ and a amazing fighter so i can’t wait for Diaz vs GSP or Condit vs GSP going to be sick Log in to Reply Anthony February 2, 2012 Hi Bruno, love the website. There’s a mistake in the title. It’s ”GSP” and not ”GPS” Log in to Reply Lodovik February 2, 2012 Hey Bruno, did you make a typo, or is the “GPS” instead of GSP on purpose? Log in to Reply jdogg February 2, 2012 wish my truck had GPS : / Log in to Reply maynard February 2, 2012 GPS looks like he lost a little weight ( COUGH ) Log in to Reply casyboy February 2, 2012 i got a great book called feeding your demons, in a nut shell if you dont channel your creative energy in a positive way it becomes demonic and it will channel you, so its about finding positive ways to express darker tendencys, alchemy, turn shit into gold, without dis-owning oneside or another,i.e fighting for good or evil, instead hormonize/intergrate the opposites…the demons want to consume your soul but what they need is love, so give them what they need not what they want!… this is jungian psychology more than religeous! Log in to Reply fightdontbefake February 2, 2012 if he wants to be a role model, finish your damn fights! Nick doesn’t like hurting people, but GSP wants to hurt Nick. GSP says he has his past of street fights, even more than Nick. So who is the bad guy here? I think Nick has always come off as the bad guy, but he never really starts any shit, he just reacts. Sure he calls out the person holding the championship belt, what do you expect he’s a FIGHTER (not an athlete like GSP). Log in to Reply jake1220 February 2, 2012 typical classy canadian. wont find a person like that anywhere south of canada. Even tho anderson silva is might be a good role model he still showboats and is pretty high on himself in general. Log in to Reply adsf February 2, 2012 Go Geo-positioning-satellite! GPS! GPS! GPS! Just as boring, as GSP imo. Log in to Reply Dabbe118 February 2, 2012 GPS? Log in to Reply ElMaestro February 2, 2012 I a truly enamored with this man. No homo. But seriously this guy is by far the best representative to the sport. Im glad to have him representing the world of MMA and I will always root for him just based off his integrity. Log in to Reply Samwise February 2, 2012 GPS is a global positioning system. Log in to Reply lord faron February 2, 2012 this guy is a gentleman to the core, George please crush Diaz into chili powder! Log in to Reply Tempted February 2, 2012 Ha. GPS is right. Never goes where you want it to, always avoids the correct destination(fighting Diaz). Log in to Reply SEAN_VANCE February 2, 2012 HEre he goes wih the same little line…I have demons, I have darkness in my head….its funny how Nick got under his skin BIG time…. dude u dont have to be a prick, just fight Nick and thats it! Log in to Reply IKnives February 2, 2012 I used to hate GSP but now it is so damn difficult. He seems like a stand up guy. Some of these other guys I wouldn’t even let in my house. Log in to Reply cc February 2, 2012 so does that mean he’s fake? Log in to Reply murell February 2, 2012 G.S.P wont have to fight Diaz, because Carlos is going to take Nick out. G.S.P is a Great champion! Log in to Reply Ibanez7vwh February 2, 2012 It seems that GSP is jealous of Nick Diaz’s public image and wants himself to be seen as somebody like him. Is it just me that this whole demon-inside-head bs feels super artificial?? Log in to Reply T'Challa February 2, 2012 South Shore MTL, will put a serious beatdown on Stockton CA.. Log in to Reply mexicali February 2, 2012 GSP is a true champion i would never doubt a word he says he has proven to be an honest and humble champion and i believe he will beat whoever wins between condit and diaz Log in to Reply paddedummy February 2, 2012 From what I remember hearing, GSP’s street fights consisted of getting jumped by more than one guy and having his head banged against things when he was a kid. If he would have trained actual self defense so hard instad of mma he might be able to stop that from happening now but he wouldn’t have his face on Gatorade bottles and underarmor spandex unitards and all that money and black pu$$y so I think he made the right decision because how often do 30 year old men get jumped plus he can afford 300 pound bodyguards now. Log in to Reply donkeyboner February 2, 2012 why was he doing that thing with his left foot? Log in to Reply Cloudst February 2, 2012 Some pretty ridiculous hate on GSP here 😛 Log in to Reply krazy j February 3, 2012 in my opinion hes a true martail artist Log in to Reply Victoria, BC --Canada February 3, 2012 He picked a great role model to look up to in life in Wayne Gretzky… always classy and humble. Log in to Reply greengiant February 3, 2012 sad to say but kids do look up to the champs and other fighters to the point of mimicking them.dumb kids will see diaz and the way he acts and they will mimic him.i always go for the down to earth honorable fighters, honor over skill any day but if you have both even better. Log in to Reply Bernardo February 3, 2012 If its true that GSP been recovering I fear he will lose his belt for sure to the winner of DIAZ VS CONDUIT bc of ring rust. Diaz & Conduit been on a rampage for years so their conditioning, skills and reactions are peaked as can be. Log in to Reply user February 3, 2012 Bruno, this is why you need a better comment system. Nobody else can see the piled up comments in-queue so we all say the same thing at essentially the same time. And this also discourages discourse between commenters because there are no real-time posts. If this is a wordpress site (?) there are lots of comment systems available that will allow other users to vote down the spam. Bruno: I know. The whole site is old school as it gets. I plan on a total redesign when I can and a better comment section will be part of that change. Log in to Reply FailSonnen February 4, 2012 GPS = George Pierre the Saint Log in to Reply slappy February 4, 2012 Some of the idiots who comment on here have to be some the dumbest people in the world. Do you really think Diaz is in GSP’s head? Who’s the one that bitched out of a press conference knowing it would most likely cost him the fight. Diaz can talk all the shit he wants, but when it comes down to it, he is scared. If he really wanted to fight him as bad as he says he does, he would have been there at the press conference. I think GSP has got into some of the Diaz fans in here. You guys are weak. Log in to Reply perulives February 4, 2012 @slappy You don’t think he’s in his head? Not even a little? I didn’t think so until GSP started doing all these bullshit interviews talking about his “demons” and being in more street fights then Diaz. Why is he trying to form this image for himself that he’s tougher than Diaz now? GSP is a phenomenal athlete and I have all the respect for him as a champ, but get real Slappy… Log in to Reply Leave a Reply Cancel replyYou must be logged in to post a comment.
