The Ultimate Fighter Team Serra Vs Team Hughes fighters have been announced.
Starting Wednesday, September 19th on Spike TV the sixth season will gather 16 welterweights together to fight it out to become the TUF champion. The UFC Welterweight Champ Matt Serra and former UFC Welterweight Champion Matt Hughes will be the coaches. After the end of the season finale Serra and Hughes are going to fight each other in a UFC pay-per-view event.
Opponents from each team are selected to fight it out in each episode. They are weighed in and then, in front of their teammates and coaches , square off in two five-minute rounds and in the event of a draw, a sudden death third round.
The fighters this season are:
Matt Arroyo, Daniel Barrera, Blake Bowman, Mac Danzig, Paul Georgieff, Richie Hightower, John Kolsci, Troy Mandaloniz, Billy Miles, Roman Mitichyan, Dorian Price, Jared Rollins, Ben Saunders, Joe Scarola, George Sotiropoulis, and Tommy Speer.
