Cant disagree with any of that except Vitor and his cheeze its. With always in Brazil and always on TRT, it just feels a little fake to me. But he did have a sick year.

Can’t really disagree with those, hard to see not choosing Weidman if he pulls off the upset again though. After that I think George or Demetrius would be good choices.

I think Cain should get it for destroying all his competition and the same goes for Demetrius. As for GSP that is questionable considering he lost on many peoples card in his last two fights. Vitor did have a killer year but always comes up short!!

Fighter of the year: Cain.

I think Cain, Demetrius and Chris Weidman all seem like totally valid choices for fighter of the year. But I definitely also think the case for Vitor is a fascinating one. All of his fights were against very tough opponents and he crushed all of them in extremely dominant fashion. He’s coming for that belt and I’m not saying he’ll win, but he’s as dangerous as just about anyone and may be an even better matchup for Weidman than Silva is. Not that Silva won’t win, but Weidman is definitely in good position to beat him again.
