ankle locks will make you tap and can break your knee lol, and the one dude said that fishhooks are potentially lethal?lol....knees on the ground and stomps are illegal so i think intentional foot stomps should also be illegal, cause they are stupid

thats not what he was saying the don't hurt in the fight at all but a day or so later your foot starts to get big and red, you can't walk at all trust me i have had my fair share of foot stomps and the suck but unlike strikes to the head the don't actuly hurt till much later in the day so unless you fight for a good 9 hours there just dumb and a waste of time

Seriously, you know how many accidental foot stomps there are? Should they stop so a doctor can look at your foot because it got stomped? Punches to the head can make a fighter become mentally challenged. A broken rib can puncture organs. When a fighter fights, he knows whats at stake.

Doesn't require much training? How much training does it require to throw a shoulder strike in a clinch? I'm pretty sure you could probably teach a monkey to do that. Ankle locks don't hurt bad enough to make you tap out and 90 percent of the time, can't break anything but anyone who has ever been put in a good foot lock will tell you how it aches for weeks..... should those be banned too?

You don't ban moves in UFC because they hurt. You ban them when they are potentially fatal like downward elbow strikes, hitting to the back of the head, fish hooking, striking a downed oppenent, ect, ect.

Foot stomps should stay.

this should be banned, as a tactic that does not require much training, and which can be a career-ender, I urge those in a position to make this tactic unacceptable in a MMA match.

I think foot stomps are just as good at distracting as dirty boxing, short knees and shoulder strikes in a clinch.
Broken noses, cheek bones, eye sockets and jaws are a common occurrence for fighters which also prevents them from sparring for weeks/months....should they band face strikes also???
The fighters know the risk of injuries and have plenty of time to heal, recover and regain fitness between fights.

Maybe they could become 'unsporting like' instead, but not illegal.
