this is what i was afraid of….these announcers arent taking this seriously and are feigning excitement and using sarcasm when talking about it. its cool that its on baseball but i can just see this guy rolling his eyes as hes saying it

@Savage, I agree, you can hear the sarcasm in the second guys’ voice.. his attitude makes it seem like it’s a freak show or pro wrestling, with him subtly mocking the “Bones” nickname..

Well what do you guys expect? MMA is so foreign to the mainstream world, and I’m sure these ball announcers have no idea what they’re talking about. Give it some time, a year from now it’ll seem just like any other sport that they promote mid-broadcast. The important thing is that they’re getting some cross-sectional interest brewing. Idk about you, but if I still had tv (i just use my computer) I would be pleasantly surprised by a free championship fight that I previously had no idea about, despite the lackluster tone of the announcers. This sport is about to get HUGE

That’s ridiculous. There’s an ex boxer they used to call bones as well. Cant recall his actual name. Now rampage, that’s a cheesy f’ing moniker and really only serves as fodder for these old jaded charlatans who never here of pitbulls and ‘muscle sharks’ in the refined sport of boxing. geezers…he’ll be dead by the time mma is actually mainstream anyway.

i dont expect them to like MMA when they love a facking boring and lazy sport but atleast they should do their job correctly, announce the product they are supposed to sell(UFC free fight at their network),and not to laugh at it or be sarcastic.If UFC commentators would talk about a product this way they would probably lose their job or get really talked seriously to by their bosses.If they keep acting like that it wont be hard for their bosses to find 2 new guys who arent old retarded baseball commentators.

I am not from US. Is baseball actually popular as a TV sport? I mean, I know people go to games to drink beer and talk about other sports, but do they watch it on TV as well? I tried once and fell asleep. If any of the people watching baseball on TV will see dos Santos vs Velasques, they will never return to baseball again.
