Not to mention that this event starts earlier than the other ones. (yeah, they still coulda showed most of the fights, but better to show a sure banger than risk showing some shitty fights, imo- sans Guida-Bendo).

I don’t know bout u guys, but I feel like part of the reason there is one fight is not only to test the waters but to also not have to compete with the Pacman-Marquez fight that’ll be going on that night. I remember wondering a few weeks ago why the UFC would try to counterprogram the biggest draw in boxing; it looks to me that they’ve asked themselves the same question and took a smarter route.
