Man, what idiots here. Why should a guy put his title, title money, and potentially millions in sponsorship all on the line to fix the UFC’s bad card planning and Hendo’s refusal to be upfront about his injury? Why would he put all that on the line for an undeserving loser like Sonnen, so and a bunch of idiot hating mma fans can have a few minutes of entertainment? Yeah, when he retires in a few years, will all the haters here be paying his bills…didn’t think so… Everyone talking about him not having balls, let me tell you, it took balls to stick to Dana.

First off i’m not a Jon Jones fan by a long shot, i think he is a smug s*** and i am looking forward to his first loss but seriously he has the more reasonable argument. this is his time and he is making all the right moves to stay alpha male for as long as he can. why take a risk for a guy that get a shot at the title by default. Sonnen didn’t earn it. Jones would walk through Sonnen but on the night Sonnen might accidentally get a lucky punch and that would make awful history for Jon Jones.

Very good point. What is worse, waiting out a whole UFC, the whole 2 hrs, and then watching Jones smash Sonnen in 15 seconds or them not fighting? Sounds the same to me.

I thought Chael was supposed to retire after he lost to Silva, any way? Nobody mentions that anymore.

OMG, half of you guys posting have no idea about, what it means to be a fighter, or how the business side works. His job is to fight, but his busines is to do what makes business sense for him. As a champion, you don’t take fights on short notice, thats stupid, thats how you end up not being the champ anymore. How many times have you heard of a fighter losing to someone, who on paper they should’ve easily defeated. He’s the champ. He can’t afford to be that stupid!
