everybody on here is picking against Forrest Griffin … capital BIG mistake. He’s got a champions heart and he can take a beating and keep pushing it. Rashad Evans has more power but his stand up isn’t that great and Forrest is better with his submissions and off his back.

Top to bottom this is a stacked card. Ive never been more stoked for a card. Aside from the 3 mentioned here, we also get: C.B. Dollaway vs. Mike Massenzio and Cheick Kongo vs. Mustafa Al Turk on the main card.

Even the undercard at UFC 92 has potential for a few good fights:
Preliminary card
Yushin Okami vs. Dean Lister
Antoni Hardonk vs. Mark Burch
Matt Hamill vs. Reese Andy

Plus, Suga is the hometown hero who works out at my gyms occasionally.
But I got all my hopes and dreams on Big Nog’s shoulders. And then he will hopefully snap brocks spine.

wanderlei or Rampage (dont know, both have trained very hard and they are both different fighters since pride.) I think that if wanderlei tries to just box with him like he did with Ladel he might lose. His main strength was the clinch against Jackson. If Jackson has learned to defend himself against the clinch it will be a much different outcome.

Who I want to win is different than my predictions (people tend to mix the two)

I think Forrest will utilize his reach and win by fighting the smartest fight (boring, but he’ll win), I think Mir will win by decision and I think Wand will win by mental victory in dominating fashion and put a stamp on his trilogy over Rampage once and for all…styles makes fights, and I just think Wand’s style is too much for Rampage..

Evans gets better and better every fight. It will be close but he has better standup and better ground wrestling.

I don’t know about Rampage vs Silva. I’m a Rampage fan so I hope he wins but I’m not sure.

2 TUFF i can’t agree with you more. forrest got a title shot that was undeserved and won a fight he shouldnt have. He beat shogun (who was a top light heavy weight) but how is it that griffin gets a title shot after beating 1 guy and keith jardine who knocked the shit out of him didn’t get his title shot? I dont know but whatever.
and rashad evans is a show off and horrible. I mean he couldnt even finish tito or finish bisping. horrible horrible. and if he becomes champion it is a horrible thing for teh sport. anyways wanderlei and rampage is gona be sick. i would hve to say mir is gona win by sub third round

You got to think Rampage is going to be really prepared for this fight. He wanted this rematch for sometime. Plus hes got a new training camp at wolfslair and they look like a serious camp. Silva is coming off an impressive win over Keith Jardine. But I don’t think Rampage will be as stupid as Jardine and leave his chin out. I’m taking RAMPAGE BY DECISION.

If Mir comes in shape and cuts some body fat he might beat Nogeria. Nogeria looks to be in good shape but is getting kind of old. I’m going to make this my UPSET SPECIAL AND PICK MIR BUT I CAN’T GUESS THE METHOD, PROBABLY DECISION.

Now the true main event, I think this is going to be easier to call than most people think. I’m choosing FORREST GRIFFIN BY DECISION. Forrest is to big and strong for Evans. Evans will be giving up a substantial reach advantage as well as size. I think they both are to strong and have to much heart to be knocked out or TKO’d so I think Decision is most likely going to happen. It will probably look a lot like the Forrest Rampage fight.

What is very interesting about this card is the mental aspect of the fighters.

Rampage is coming back from a total f#@% up and he is facing a guy who absolutely destroyed him twice (is it something funky in the air or is it just me?).

Forrest will have to prove that his head is still in place after the title. He is a hard worker and he can beat Evans if he outsmarts him. If he go for the punch-my-face-and-I-will-punch-yours strategy, anything can happen. Rashad has a heavier punch, but Griffin has enough to knock someone out.

Mir is a tested fighter, but the only way I see him beating Nogueira is if he takes the fight to a decision. He said himself: you can’t knock the guy out and you can’t submit him. Unless he gets Nogueira in a very bad position and the referee decides to stop, his strategy should focus on scoring as many points as he can.

Anyway, I hope whoever win this fight kicks the hell out of Lesnar. He didn’t deserve a title shot and he took the title from a guy who didn’t deserve it neither. They only put Couture in the heavyweight because there wasn’t anyone else. If Tim Silvia can be champion of anything, that’s weight class in trouble. Now with Mir and Big Nog, things may get interesting again…

Anyway – my picks: Rashad wins by KTFO – Grffin crying on the background (again) along with Dana // Minatauro wins by submission – once again he’s going to invent a new crazy-ass submission move and apply it on punk Mir. // Lastly, RAMPAGE wins by power bomb. You gotta be crazy if you think Wandy will beat Rampage one more time, this is not Pride, this is not Japan. He knocked out Rampage badly in Japan b/c kicks to head were allowed. Rampage’s fighting style is way different (don’t respond unless you’re a true MMA follower) Plus, Wandy couldn’t finish old-ass Lidell, do ya’ll think he’s gonna be able to knock-out Quinton?? Rampage is just about washed up because of his mental issues. He just isn’t in it anymore and that can be seen in his physical appearances. He just looks lazy compared to the old rampage. When is the last time you actually saw him rampage on someone? He hasn’t even slammed anyone in the UFC.
