I’m still honestly and literally hurt and saddened by Brock’s victory. I cannot understand how anyone would want a person Like Lesner to win. Have people not seen any interviews with him? He was 2-1 coming into Saturday night verses Couture and he spoke as if he was the best p4p fighter in the world and that nobody stood a chance against him. He definitely showed no respect or honor to a veteran, generally well-respected and acclaimed fighter in Randy who helped bring MMA to where it is today. Not to mention Couture was 40-60+ pounds lighter, more than a decade older and hadn’t fought in a year and a half.
Brock Lesner > Dana White > Frank Mir:
They all think they are God’s gift to mankind. They’re all disrespectful and arrogant. I am seriously praying that Nog beats Mir and that Dana’s golden boy then loses to Nog. If there is any justice in this world, the respectable, humble, selfless and kind man wins. I know being nice doesn’t get one far in MMA, but, hopefully karma exists, hopefully someone or something is looking out for Nog…he deserves it.

whatever….I never heard Brock be outright disrespectful to Randy….he’s just arrogant, for sure….but I think he’s just being extremely confident in his abilities…..it will become “over confident” when he eventually loses…lol
…and yes…providing the “respectable, humble, selfless and kind man” has the better game, he should do just fine against the evil-doers!

Jeez, give Brock a break, he just beat the champ. All the Kimbo comparisons are ridiculous. How is a guy that gets KO’d by Seth Petruzelli and a guy that KO’s Couture the same? He is a world class athlete, much more than a WWE freakshow. If he gets armbarred by Nog, so be it, but for now give the guy his just due.

well you see, you guys hate lesnar when he beat a world class fighter. he believes he is amongst the best fighters in the world and theres nothing wrong with that. he is just very confident and whoever compares him to kimbo is a loser because kimbo never fought the type of fighters lesnar has and kimbo got beat by a 205 pounder and lesnars only loss was to an ex world champion

damn alot of mma fans are pissed cuz omg brock was in fake ass WWE and now he took out their precious couture. Get over it. Too bad that hes a huge heavyweight who is still fast. Did he deserve the champ fight so early…I dont think so, but look couture obviously shouldnt be champ if he couldnt beat lesnar that night. Train more and get a rematch couture. Brock’s only gonna get better.

No one isn’t giving Brock his credit. STFU with that bullshit already. Read peoples comments before you start saying stereotypical nuthugger responses. People are voicing a distaste for his general lack of respect towards Couture (I don’t need to go back over why Lesnar should have respect for that guy). How can you be proud of a champ like that? Well guess what, with that attitude, talking like hes the best pound for pound fighter in the world- he is going to get his ass kicked, and his title taken very very soon. I would have liked to see a shred of class and respect from lesnar.

I Respect Lesnar’s work ethic…. If you train hard and fight hard you deserve breaks and that’s what he got…. Speaking of breaks, he is gonna have a hard time against an accomplished heavy weight wrestler/ jui jitsu expert, someone that can handle 270+ pounds from the bottom…

The only thing that boggles my mind is, how do you fight twice in the UFC, go 1-1 and get a title shot? This m*********** is riding Dana white’s coattails and he’s probably trying to make him the new face of mma. Sounds alot like how Kimbo got made into the face of the elitexc, then got destroyed by a no name like petruzelli(although he did fight in the UFC). I have this suspicion that he’s taking steroids and not getting tested because everyone who transitions from a steroid driven sport and goes to a real professional sport like MMA loses significant mass and strength. Oh well, I used to like Frank Mir but after the soccer incident on TUF I’ve lost a whole lot of respect for him because of his arrogance, so I hope Nog breaks his arm, then breaks Brock’s. Nog for the win.

Brock didn’t deserve the title shot, Randy didn’t deserve to be the champ, he should have been no. 1 contender after Mir gets his shot then Brock should have been next. Same wit BJ, why does he get a title shot vs GSP? he should have to fight his way to the title shot. The only man with some respect enough to earn his way up is Anderson Silva, and he’s gonna stay at the top when he gets there. Please UFC do not go the way of wrestling and boxing, this is the only real good contact fighting sport around now so keep it honest so you don’t lose your fans.
