UFC 84 Offical Attendance And Gate Totals

Final figures for UFC 84 were released by Nevada State Athletic Commission on Friday. The event brought us Tito Ortiz’s farewell bout against Lyoto Machida.

The NSAC says that the overall paid attendance for UFC 84 was 13,448 with 1,325 ticket given out for free for a total attendance of 14,773. $3,732,000 was the paid gate.

There was a closed circuit feed viewed by 1,175 paid, with 120 free tickets totaling 1,295. The gate receipts for the closed circuit feed was $58,750.

NSAC says the total payroll was $1,098,000, which does not include pay-per-view bonuses or other such additional compensation.

the fertittas money got them to where they are now. dana contributed to that. they nearly sold teh company because they were doing so badly at one point. things turned around. TUF got popular and really opened the flood gates for MMA in the mainstream. whoever’s idea TUF was thats the guy you thank. then you thank the fertittas for the money they put into the company. then you thank then most importantly you thank the fighters for putting their lives and bodys on the line for our viewing pleasure.

the fertittas have made their money bank and then some. dana has made a life out of the money. the company is stable. now give the fighters the money they deserve. theirs no excuse for it. dana keeps coming out with teh same bullshit in regards to paying fighters teh money they deserve. and its bullshit. now hes driving out the biggest names. will UFC go out of buisness soon? no, but eventually the fans will switch their gaze to another org because now they have the best fighters. coz fighters on the bottom rung of the ladder are starting to think it might not be a good idea to join UFC. its allready been happening.

dana is bad for the UFC. he missed out on a prime time deal, and now nobody wants to deal witht eh schmuck. if the UFC fails its because of dana white. they need to pass teh torch to another buisnessman. coz this guy is fuckin poison.

Robert is right. before Dana and the fertittas bros, The UFC would have gone under. they werent making any money. no one would support the sport at all. Hell, Dana and the Bros paid for the first TUF out of there own pocket, not even knowing if anyone would pick it up. its because of them the UFC is so big and its also the reason why MMA isnt illegal in most states. before them no one would sanction a fight. Just a heads up. I’m not sure about K1, but I think its still going. As for Pride, its DONE. Pride was purchased by the UFC, hence the rise in Pride fighters in the UFC. Pride is owned by the UFC.
