UFC 83 Tickets Sale Starts Sunday

Tickets for Canada’s first UFC event goes on sale this Sunday. UFC 83 will be held in Montreal at the Bell Centre.

The UFC 83 main event features welterweight champion Matt Serra vs. French Canadian, Georges St. Pierre in a title-unification bout. The fight card will contain other Canadian fighters which should make this a quick sell out.

UFC’s fan club members will get first crack at tickets beginning this Sunday, Feb. 3 at noon ET/9 a.m. PT.

Sale dates for the general public will be announced during a press conference Monday by UFC President Dana White. Subscribers to the UFC newsletter will likely be able to purchase tickets beginning Feb. 6. Tickets for the general public should have a purchase date as soon as Feb. 8.

this has to make Matt Serra feel uncomfortable towards Dana White promoting the event in GSP’s country. the welterweight champion who is the underdog.

About time, Canada finally has the UFC coming up here. GSP is gonna demolish Matt Serra no doubt. Going to be one of the best UFC Line Ups for sure!!!

serra is a good fighter not going to put him down or anything. but gsp is a freak his one of the best in the world. and his got his mind in the rite place for this fight. in his home town. its going to be a blash.

I think Serra might want to consider retiring after this fight…I like the guy but GSP is on fire…this is not going to be anything like the previous fight.

If the above suggestion is true regarding the lineup, then that’s a poor one. I’m getting a bit fed up of the constant recycling of the Ultimate Fighter ‘losers.’ There are plenty of other fighters out there that should be given a chance.
