gabriel, how can u say that pride fighters suck? Look there’s rampage and anderson silva dominating and im pretty sure they’ll continue to dominate.. Randy couture is actually lucky that fedor isnt in the ufc.

Mirko wasn’t the first pride fighter….anderson silva got beat in pride by rio chonan for christ sake and comes over to the ufc and dominates…quinton jackson who was been beaten numerous times in pride..sakuraba,marcio rua, silva twice.seems to be pretty damn good in the octagon, so don’t you dare say pride fighters suck…who’s the ufc’s best heavyweight anyway.tim silvia???? you’re just luck mr. fedor didn’t come over, then i would be talkin shit..THINK BEFORE YOU SPEAK BOY!!!!!!

It’s clear that a lot of you people don’t know anything about MMA. It’s really sad actually, the best fighters in the world have participated in Pride and theres no doubt about that, unfortunately the UFC being American owned stopped a lot of fighters from participating in it.

Pride has had some great fighters compete there in the last 10 years, but I guess people like you have only been aware of MMA for 6 months…. hence your ‘expert’ opinions.
‘Minatauro’ was a top Pride guy and he got beat by Fedor and only won the 2nd fight on a cut when he was getting beat again.. I got a lot of respet for him, hope he beats Sylvia… but will that then mean that Fedor is the uncrownd UFC champ?? I’ll leave that to the ‘experts’!!!!

Ufc fighters are not better than pride fighters… u guys talking like shit should watch some pride fights before open ur mouths… the fact is Pride fighters have to change, to adapt their way to fight in order to be able to fighjt in UFC rules… otherwise everybody knows how violent and explosive are Wand or Sokodjou when fighting…
men just give some respect to those men because u not even able to step on the ring… so give some respect instead to run ur mouths behind ur computers….

First of all when you guys say that pride sucks, but the african assaisian only fought once in japan, his other pride fight took place in the states. As far as silva-lidell, silva is like a gulliard, he has all the tools, he dose’nt always choose the right ones. he should have just did what keith jardine did and out point chuck .

wow what a mediocre pay per view, nevertheless we had some fights Machida whopped another Pride fighter (by the way you notice the trend) I wonder if Dana has been watching Pride along with the match makers are putting their beasts against pride’s “monsters” who r rather weak pride has proved itself to be a step down that nigger who trains with Dan Hollywood Henderson was balls along wit Mirko and most others coming from pride. It is a shame Fedor is fighting Han Mon Choi and not Couture but I am sure Fedor realizes the trend and would rather continue in dominance. In fact did u see Jeff Monson roll through the Pride Japanese monster.

Im glad GSP beat Hughes, Hughes is a classless dude im glad he is going to retire and never enjoyed his fighting style. I am a lil annoyed Serra couldnt whoop up on him but ohh well GSP did.

Clementie and Guillard this to me sounds like a first fight i do not see how it was a highlight fight but i dislike both guys and hope Clemetie finds his beat down outside of MMA for his classless act he needs to realize he is 155 pounds or whatever he is not tough shit. Well neither is Guillard lol.

I am pretty sure GSP trained sufficiently before and after he was notified to fight. Maybe he was not training for Hughes bitch ass but training I bet nevertheless.

How about Machida he beasted that pride scrub.

I have noticed a trend I am not sure it is ,because Dana is a pride fan and picks favorable match ups but these “monsters” in the pride game are weak.

Since the merger every fighter from Pride starting with Mirko got there ass handed to them it is scary how much better the american fight game is then the Japanese ex. in the last pride event Jeff Monson smashed that huge Japanese fighter who was supposed to be a monster. and the Nigger in this event got owned by Machida who is an excellent fighter and I think deserves a title shot.

Fuck Clementi and Guilard both are sissy’s who shouldnt of been in a serious fight card maybe IFL wit Big Ben Rothwell

Canadian Kid, at least Hughes was training for a fight, GSP wasn’t training, period, when that fight landed in his lap! Hughes himeself thought that was an advantage he had in pre-fight interviews.

At any rate, we do agree that GSP is the welterweight king, and probably the best fighter in the UFC. He does need to move up to Anderson Silva’s weight class to test that theory, though. Now, that would be a fight worth watching.
