I wish they would do the current UFCs this way. No rounds just fighting. I guess too many people would run away indefinitely if you took away the timelimit.
@rgood. Not necessarily. If it’s a tourney and you only get paid if you win the whole thing, nobody would be too keen of going to the next fight tired. You see that in all the 4 first UFCs, most fights were over in less than a minute. Longer fights meant a smaller chance to win the next one.

Pat Smith really messed up the exotic guys face XD That was some seriously brutal elbows. As strange as it sounds the very amateurish refereing made the fights even more awesome.
Patrick Smiths tapped before his corner trew the towel. I think it could be because he saw Royce pop that other opponent harm like a twig.

According to a Pat Smith interview after this event in Black Belt magazine, after Pat Smith made mince meat out of Scott Morris’s face, despite his persona, Smith actually went back to his locker room and puked his guts up in disbelief to what he’d just done to Morris. Also, Gerard Gordeau was offered a slot in the UFC 2 line up but decided not to compete as he claimed the UFC was over run by Gracie mafia, so he trained Remco Pardoe instead.
