I just wanted a great fight and got it. I also don’t believe it’s just about damage but a multitude of things like takedowns, takedown defense, number of strikes landed as well as power punches, etc. I love Johnny Hendricks as a fighter, but I still think he lost 3-2. I’ve seen much worse decisions than this. Log in to Reply earthismyturf November 17, 2013 I thought Condit lost too and George looked like shit after that too Log in to Reply FailSonnen November 17, 2013 Shut the hell up Dana how the hell is this guy manage a business. Way too emotional and a baby. Why can’t Lorenzo manage it he has so much more class.. Dana also don’t crap on Hendricks like that lol. Take a year off Dana. We’d be happy not to hear your stupid mouth. Spend some time with your family you’re never with… Log in to Reply noseel November 17, 2013 yup, gsp 3-2. I had no sound…not sure if that made a difference in judgment. Wanted Hendricks to pull it out too Log in to Reply DaxLock November 17, 2013 Dana can be a big fool a lot of times. This is definitely one of them. I can’ believe how much he is going on about this. I totally agree with anon, al client and earthismyturf. It was a really good competitive fight and GSP won. I wasn’t rooting for him but I can admit he won. This fight was not a “Judges Rob Job”, I absolutely see it like the two judges that gave it to GSP. Rounds 1-3-5. And whats the deal with Dana talking down to Hendricks like that?! Yes you’re the big boss but get it together. you’re scolding him in front of the world to have done better? F*** Off! Log in to Reply bigFishLittlepond November 17, 2013 Hendricks won, 3 to 2. All day… everyday. Hendricks won under 10 point must rules and Pride rules where you judge a fight in its entirety. GSP did good and showed heart to win the 5th but he lost 3 of the first 4 rounds. Hence… game over. Log in to Reply dragoman November 17, 2013 anyone know what was said it when gsp arrives and then they have technical problems? Log in to Reply jizlo November 17, 2013 Usually side with dana, but jeez, what a prick, obviously hes not thinking straight. Q – “Wouldn’t it be worth while he needs time off before dumping on him” A – “No. He gets paid a lot, let me show you his bank account.” Keeping it classy. Log in to Reply jizlo November 17, 2013 duhhh im hendrix, i won every round. I celebrate close decisions before the verdict is read. Log in to Reply AOPrinciple November 17, 2013 Come on Dana, how do you REALLY feel? lol! Good ol’ White, telling you how it is. I don’t think he should have been quite so heavy handed about the issue, but I do agree with his sentiment, and I think the judges need to get their heads out of their asses. I could understand GSP winning if you gave him round 2, but I heard that two of the three judges gave #1 to GSP. Are you kidding me? Log in to Reply alpha 5 November 17, 2013 Yea I have it 3-2 GSP…Only round I seen Hendricks win was the 4th round…Yea Dana is an *******…I dont know how those guys work for him… Log in to Reply Twana November 17, 2013 3 axis of evil.. dana white, herb dean, and ass.hole joe rogan which officials ever talked in that stupid way the way he talks about result of the fights and fighters? he is not above the judges, the rules, nor the fighters. someone should cut a piece of his tongue. Log in to Reply charnc1122 November 17, 2013 Why’s Dana White let Hendricks sit there and spit into a clear bottle at a press conference, yet expect the sport to be “main stream” and taken seriously by the masses? Log in to Reply DKGonzo86 November 17, 2013 ugh… what a scum… Log in to Reply HDNKR November 17, 2013 Anyone who thought St. Pierre won this fight should ask yourself, If it was a street fight….who won? After all UFC is suppose to replicate a street fight. You can call Dana White all the names you want but he was right….end of story! Log in to Reply def November 17, 2013 @HDNKR Whether or not Hendricks won the fight, MMA is not supposed to replicate a street fight. Overall I think people need to stop crying about the decision. There have been worse decisions and what’s done is done. If there’s a rematch let that settle it. Log in to Reply Wawawa November 17, 2013 A decision always goes to the champ. Unwritten law phuckheads. I liked gsp and johnny equally before the fight. After. Phuck hendricks phuckin fag. Who talks shit like ” i gave it all i had, like 70% was beating him. Dumbest shit i ever heard. Figting the champ and wanting the belt but giving 70%. Phuckin fag. He shoulda done his phuckin job and finished. Phuck dana too. If an employee needs a lil time off after doing his job for you then give him some off you phuckin fag. Rematch and tell johnny to “pretend” its a real fight. Dumbazz fag. Log in to Reply Gsp corner November 17, 2013 I just cAme back from that fight. I was there in front row in gsp corner. They all though he lost. I have the recording i will post soon. So if they all though he lost why you people think he won? Cause the decision went to him? Thats no enuff. Great fight though, the energy there at front row is amazing. But is really expensive. Lol. Log in to Reply Krio November 17, 2013 Can someone tell me what was Hendricks spitting? is that a redneck thing to do? why do we allow guys with big beards to fight? Log in to Reply Noel November 17, 2013 There is a truth that exists in combat sports: you can’t beat a champ by out-pointing him. Whether you like it or not, it’s always been that way. Before the fight, Hendricks said he was going in to KO St. Pierre. After the fight, he said he wasn’t going for the KO. He did all but admit he tried to out-point the champ which is a stupid strategy, period. The one issue I wanted someone to raise is that Hendricks went into the fight at 200lbs while GSP weighed 170lbs. And, yea, Dana acted like a butthole. Log in to Reply mma made easy November 17, 2013 It’s nice that you’ve learned how to use a keyboard lil’ fellah. Log in to Reply PlainAnSimple November 17, 2013 Jonny Hendricks is the uncrowned champ and GSP is simply, all busted up, period! Why else would he want to take time off, cause he’s scared and knows he lost that fight! Log in to Reply iWay November 17, 2013 welterweight division is definitely stacked right now. lot of interesting matchups to be made there. Log in to Reply fighter November 17, 2013 1 3 5 GSP 2 4 Henricks Log in to Reply igibbons November 17, 2013 I watched the fight again and although GSP is busted up from more damage, I think he did win the fight on points by a very close margin. I had it rounds 3 and 5 for GSP definitely and round 1 scored for GSP but it was extremely close. Log in to Reply bigFishLittlepond November 17, 2013 LOL at Dana attempting to play Good Cop Bad Cop with the commission as the Bad Cop. Remember kiddies, in that scenario both cops are using a plan to benefit their side. Log in to Reply dub November 17, 2013 haha.. @Gsp corner – why do you people think that GSP won? Just because of the decision? that isnt enough?? what is enough to win a fight and take the belt home? what an idiot. Log in to Reply Joe Dog November 17, 2013 Dana White….How do you spell douchebag? Log in to Reply KingDavis45 November 18, 2013 Dana is the man for the job help build UFC the way it is today. So many people hate and mainly because you’re not in his shoes. That fight gave UFC a black eye if you ask me. Been watching since UFC 1 and I’m a GSP fan but you can’t use boxing judges and scoring to judge a MMA fight. Log in to Reply MR. Creepy November 18, 2013 any 1 that thinks gsp won the fight…is an idiot, blind or both..sorry…and im a big gsp..fan…did u not see gsp raise johny’s hand after the fight…ever 1 knew johny won,,,except the paid off judges.. Log in to Reply paddedummy November 19, 2013 It was not close, GSP won all 5 rounds on points the way the sport is scored. In the 24/7 countdown shows Zahabi was talking about GSP possibly retiring BEFORE he beat Hendricks! The bald A-hole is just trying to convince all the idiot fanboys that Hendricks won because that is who is going to be fighting sooner, which means that is who has to be hyped up to make the jewFC money you f-ing dummies! Ya, his corner thought GSP lost, that is why his trainer carried him around on his shoulders with his hands raised BEFORE the decision was read. I’m sure they thought he was going to get screwed out of the decision just like I did but that is the reason fights are scored by independent judges. If the judges were UFC employees Johnny the hillbilly would have surely been gifted the UD. GSP is too respectful and polite with people who don’t deserve it, that’s why he raised Hendricks hand after the fight just for showing up/trying like it was a kids soccer game and why he didn’t tell DW to blow him!
