But Yeah, I was expecting Cain to be more muscular, or a little bit more massive. But for sure he will still pack some heavyweight power.
But I think this can be part of strategy as well, less muscle, more durability, more speed… I guess Cain’s camp are betting, not giving space to Junior to set his strikes and its going to be a fight of changing levels for Cain, dirty boxing,elbows, and greco roman right away, looking to avoid Junior’s power, and put him on his back, and they know that Junior has a tremendous chin. So as soon as Junior gets up, Cain will put him on the ground.Junior is very muscular now, and Cains’s plan maybe works, he will get tired, or his muscles will get swallowed and Junior’s strike will decrease speed and power.so they are going for decision for Cain.

But something I think is worth mentioning, both of these guys could make 205. Cain is soft at 240, he’d have no problem at 205, and I think JDS could get there fairly easy. That fact should terrify Bones and the rest of the LHW division. If Junior kept his power at 205 he’d be unstoppable. Cain might still get caught, he doesn’t have a good chin, but he has heavy hands and better than average cardio for a HW. I think that we’ll eventually see JDS vs Bones.

Also AS, a guy I hate, has the ability to do something insane. Anderson Silva can make 170. He’ll smash GSP at any weight. He should also KO Bones. I honestly believe that Anderson could hold the WW, MW and LHW belts all at the same time. I even think he would give JDS a lot to worry about.

@Tempted, you’re a noob. If you knew anything about MMA, you’d know that Anderson and Cigano train at the same gym, that they’ve been together at blackhouse for years and would never fight each other.

Cain is a notoriously hard worker. If he works that hard on his cardio and conditioning and still has a reasonable amount of pudge (which he does) then that means it is his natural form. Doesn’t mean he’s out of shape. Cain and JDS would both have a hard time making 205, especially Cain, who wrestled collegiately at HW. Both of them would lose power and stamina. 205 and HW are two very different weight divisions.
