He always says Heavyweight finish fights but what percentage of fights per weight class got finished?I’ll tell you In the first half of 2012 the top 3 weight class finish stats are like this:Lightweight had 19 finishes(20% of all fights),welterweight had 18(18.5% of all fights),Middle had 17(15% of all fights) and heavyweight had 16(9% of all fights).The truth is the LW division finishes the most fights.

I think Velasquez is a great fighter, but I don’t see this fight being any different from the first. JDS’s TDD is excellent and he is a faster and better striker. At some point, he will find that ear, chin, or temple and it will be good night to Velasquez.
Velasquez is a power striker, but I don’t think a boxer like JDS is going to make the silly mistake of getting hit clean, unless something is really wrong.
