Fun fight for the fans. The problem is that fans like Zacky complain about everything. Can’t you dumb internet kids shut up for once and just enjoy a fight? Oh right, you can’t….. Keyboard warriors unite! Silva Via being a better fighter.

I think we need to see Jones vs Silva before we see GSP vs Silva. GSP has been out of the cage for quite a while. He needs to regain his bearings first, defend his title, and actually do some fighting again before it would be the true showdown. If Silva beats Bonnar I think the next fight should be Silva and Jones.

Two things could happen. A left front kick KO or a right front kick KO. If there was a tournament, this would be the #1 versus #16 matchup.

1. the point of this fight is the main event fell out and Anderson said he would step in….. after hearing that Anderson wasnt gonna be at 185 Bonnar asked for the spot. hes proven more than enough times that he will SHOW UP and FIGHT. it was a short notice fight and most dont want any part of Silva on short notice
2. its kinda funny all the names u picked there bud cause all except IRVIN not irving (thats an oil company) all work there way to a a shot at or a title by winning fights in the ufc’s middle and lightheavy weight divisions by winning fights and those two BJJ black belts u can remember Maia and Leates EARNED those title shots one of whitch Maia threw Cheal Sonnen to the ground and was locking in a triangle for the sub before even hitting the mat.

every org that he earned a title in was relinquished due to him leaveing the promtion all together and has NEVER lost a title fight in his carreer if u count him fighting in three divisions sucsessfully. earning mltiple titles and facing the best talent every org he competed in could find.

Jones has one more big name fight in the division left and a second if Gustafson wins a big name fight to get a shot and they get them fighting in Sweeden or Brazil

A GSP fight is starting to look a lil more likely right now tho and nearing the tale end of an awsome career Anderson fighting GSP and Jones would be huge

It isn’t a title fight. It is at 205, not 185 where Silva is the champion. If you are wondering why the UFC thought it would be a good idea to have Silva fight a guy like Bonnar at all, you aren’t alone.

This fight is gonna be great bonnar shows up to fight and has been wanting a big name since he called out rampage he always comes prepared and is a scrappy guy i think he can pull the upset with some luck especially at 205 and on short notice i’m going with bonnar on this one

While I dont think bonnar will win I think he will at least last 2 or more rounds (unless he gets a bad cut) People saying it will be like the griffin fight are absolutely retarded. Bonnar is not gonna get Tko’d by a backpeddling jab.

Silva vs Bonnar sucks. Why (we all ask again) would the UFC risk injury to Silva for a meaningless fight when there are serious MW guys chomping at the bit for a title fight. Silva is pushing 40 and can’t have many fights left. If he is injured, he’ll be out for months while the list of MW contenters grows. This does not make sense, unless Silva plans to retire with the MW belt after an obscure fight or two or perhaps injury? Boo!!!!

Bonnar is owed something after he had a draw 10-15 years ago for tuf 1 lol, I’ll enjoy it and hope Silva shows off his ground work, Bonnar has a solid ground game be cool to see if he can utilize it. Silva is beatable he is weak on “Great” wrestling..Bonnar doesnt have that but if he can pull a Condit and Guida and run and get Silva pissed off maybe he lands a shot in the 3rd?? Did anyone ever see Serra KOing GS im not hurt P?

Also, I don’t think you guys are giving Bonnar the respect he deserves. The guy has been in some wars with some powerful men and has came out victorious, so all this talk about Silva knocking him out I find hard to believe. MAYBE a TKO if Bonnar is tired in the 3rd round.

Do I think Bonnar will win? No more than i think he will loose. I think he will pose A challenge for Silva.
