John Jones is a great fighter, but don’t you think he’s selfish minded. When he spoke about the DUI incident all he could say was how he was glad it didn’t change HIS life for the worse, and how lucky HE was to be alive. That’s pretty self centred. He’s lucky he didn’t kill anyone ELSE, never mind himslef. If he’d injured or killed somebody he would be the last person on the list anyone would have sympathy for.
But this is exactly the attitude you expect from John Jones, which is why he doesn’t really have any fans. And the Bob Marley entrance music. I can’t imagine anyone less suited to having that as entrance music. He even said in the video ‘who could boo bob marley’. He’s just trying to use it for credibility or to win fans over. I just don’t really like this guy.

JJ has clearly cleaned out the division. Dan henderson has no chance. UFC are really having trouble finding fighters for him since JJ walked through and finished all the best in LHW.

Vinny or Ronda would have pulled off that armbar. Vitor could have countered just like Vinny did in his fight earlier in the night by twisting under causing Jon to fall then finish the armbar with Jon lying on his back….

Alternatively, Vitor could have countered with the knee bar when Jon stood up. Both counters are purple belt moves. Its amazing to me why so many BJJ black belts forget their techniques when they focus on MMA.
