That wasn’t bad (I doubt I’d do better), but they never to get into the real technical aspects of the fight. Come to think of it, Ariel never gets technical. It’s all amateur ideas and hear-say bullshit.
No talk about how Anderson needs to keep his weight on his rear leg and fight a very timid game in order to effectively defend the shot.
How Sonnen being southpaw effects the fight because Silva doesn’t have a good defense against a left straight, and since he needs to be watching for the take-down this could be a very boring fight with little action out of Silva.
Things like that are interesting. All this obvious bullshit is getting repetitive and old like a Jon Jones interview.

@ Jack, Ariel is a reporter. He doesn’t train MMA and he’s not an analyst. Don’t expect so much from him in the technical aspect. He is mostly there to ask the questions and give his opinion on things.

^^^^ Don’t be so hard on Helwani. Just because he’s not a fighter doesn’t mean he doesn’t have an educated perspective. In fact, I have found that he is pretty knowledgeable and one of the best media people in MMA.
