I hope Demian really tries to get it to the ground and not show he is a well rounded MMA fighter.

Its so frustrating to watch a brilliant grappler try to strike, like jacare… he prob would have beat rockhold but he thought he was a kickboxer.

@Vin so true! Thats a big mistake with alot of current fighters. The best example I can think of is Cain trying to stand with Dos Santos. If you want to win you need to get the fight to the area you’re most strongest,PERIOD!
Mia is real smart and he always tries to take it to the ground. What I believe he should really work on constantly is his Wrestling and Judo.

I used to be a big fan of this guy until I saw him kickbox like 4 dudes in a row and look terrible. I havent seen him actively work for a takedown since Chael sonnen in 2009 3 years ago.
All his fans are jiu jitsu guys, like me, we wanna see you do jiu jitsu. Please dont kickbox.
Rousimar “paul harris” palhares has tons of fans and he never strikes. Every match same thing…Shoot for a double, cant get it then pull guard or go high-c. Leg lock…I cheer my friends cheer, thats the fight we wanna talk about at the gym on monday.

It’s funny how they didn’t show Chael being easily submitted by Maia and showed all of Maia’s other submissions.
