UFC 147 Rich Franklin vs Wanderlei Silva Winner Post-Fight Interview.

always good to see Rich win.
awsum rich!
I think this fight turned out even better than belfort vs silva woulda been.
Great sportsmanship from both Wand and Rich! I was impressed how well Rich recovered after almost getting finished in the 2nd Round, the dude has heart. And I disagree with the ppl that thought Rich was gonna be at risk in Brazil. It’s not like he’s been running his mouth taking sh*t about Brazil like Sonnen has over the last 2 years. Plus, he’s earned the respect of a lot of Brazilians after fighting A Silva twice and now Wand. Totally different situation than with Chael.
Both Guys are Class acts, and true Warriors.
CLASS ACT BY BOTH MEN!!!
warriors
I love seeing the sportsmanship.
and thats why I can never stomach boxing. Sounds crazy but if the fighters got paid crazy amounts of money would we be seeing fighters hungry to go all out? Or be respectful of the fans and each other?
Most of us cant stand someone like Bisping but Bisping is a far cry from Mayweather. Even Chael does Chael for entertainment. And no Brazilians was not going to hurt Rich–they are not savages. Personally it was insulting to them to say he would be.
wandy almost had him. if only he could do some soccer kicks, it would be over lol
Since Rich is arguably the best ground ace/takedown artist in the middleweight division, I’d lean towards him taking the title if he fought with his strengths… but alas like Chucky Ice, he will go down swingin’.
Great to see heart from both guys…! Hope Wandi retires soon though, don’t want to see him with Drain Bramage…
enjoyable fight, enjoyable fighters. More of this, less TRT inspired insanity.
Feel bad for silva, he should have won that – He’s a good sports man though. I’ve nothing against franklin
we cant boo you in canada either, youre just too f****** nice of a guy Rich.
I love to laugh to Sonnen when he’s running around trolling. It’s just funny in my opinion, but to see the sportsmanship these two guys displayed was epic! It reminds me of times, long gone now, where sportsmanship was very prevelant and thrived. I do miss those days where two fighters respected each other before during and after the their fight. Im not saying its gone competely. It would be so much better if there was more of it and where fighters wont told to display it, they just did it naturally. The smile on Rich’s face when he went over to Silva said it all!
That’s a wrap for Rich… if you can’t K.O. Wandy you are done.
