JDS is a great MMA fighter but I think like Velasquez he will quickly be forgotten cos he will lose soon.
MMMA is a new sport and it needs icons.There was velasquez and now there is JDS.But these champions are not by far showed they were true champions.We will see this when JDS will have a tough fight

I love Frank. But for the love of God Frank, don’t stand with jds. I want Frank to win this fight so badly but what worries me is the confidence he has in his boxing….it’s not bad but his chin can not take a punch from jds.

Mir is good while JDS is just better. Mir will not out strike him and he better come up with a pretty good game plan to get the fight to the ground because the fight does not start on the mat, it starts on the feet. JDS is not easy to get to the ground and Mir better realize this going into the fight or else this fight will be done by the 1st round with JDS hands raised guaranteed.

Bah I don’t see how MIR can win this. JDS has great takedown defence and his ground game is great, we just don’t see it that much. Mir should retire and become a sports commentator or join Baroni and do commercials

Mir is too cocky to just go for the TD..he will try and stand some…but cant blame him too much as he has KO power too..and as much as people tout JDs great boxing..he holds his hands so low and throws from his hips/waist with looping circular punches…so mir will prolly hold his hands high and try to cut off JDS wild punches with inside hooks and strights shots until he gets clipped and goes out or until he gets tired and decides its ground time..either way i just hope it goes a few rounds so we can see a great fight.

@ Genghis Khan. You don’t see how Mir can win this? Dude, u need to stop watching Kung Fu movies and watch MMA more often. Did you know that Mir beat JDS’s “Master” twice? Out boxed him the first time and broke his arm in a submission the last time? Junior’s only chance is a KO. Mir can win by knock out or submission. By the way, he should retire or be a commentator and do commercials? He’s fighting for the Championship Belt/Title! Really??

Africa, I appreciate your two cents, but you are obviously ignorant. JDS is not a flash in the pan, as you say, he is a perfect representation of what boxing can do to this game. He trains with olympic boxers and his hands kill those who confront him. Perhaps his greatest strength and the reason he has risen to such success is his humility and spirituality. People are ignorant and have no clue about the power that is derived from this origin. They can not deceive themselves and think it is a tool either.
