Folks, we need this type of cocky fighter in MMA. His fight game is usually a mixture with some unexpected fight moves thrown in for good measure.

For me personally, I do not want to go through the next few years with Jones being sold as fighting the next big threat with each new fight.

GSP did this same promotional game plan and then I was personally disappointed with each new contender he faced. GSP beat Koscheck and Hardy both easily after a fight that had the same this foe hates the other foe mentality.

I have not liked this guy for a while… then, I watched this fight.

Here’s what I learned: He’s the real deal. Easily the most skilled MMA fighter ever. There is no question in my mind that he will retire with the belt… after a loooooonnnnng reign at light heavy.

I also realized that the “fakeness” that he puts off is simply the result of being young and at the same time knowing that he is THE best. He is trying to temper his demeanor so to not turn people off. I can’t say that I can understand it, because I don’t excel at any one talent to the degree that he does… but I can imagine what it’s like.

Jon Jones is an Awesome light Heavy,but I just dont see him doing that well as a Heavy weight,only time will tell.
