I’ve always liked Rashad and I hope he wins, but I detect a note of truth in Jon’s words. I’ve seen a hint of jealousy in Rashad myself. Jealousy is a poison for which there is no cure. Clear your mind and fight for the right reasons Rashad.

I have never really been a fan of Rashad… and I have been a fan of Bones… but somehow I think I’d enjoy seeing Rashad land that one big knock out hit… although the odds of that are pretty slim due to the skill and reach of Bones at this time. This is only my personal opinion of course… but the motivation behind Rashad this time around is what excites me the most of this fight. I can’t WAIT to see this go down!

the only x-factor in Rashad’s favour is that he started out as a HW so he may be ok with dealing with someone that has the frame of a HW. I like them both and part of me wants to see Rashad win if only to keep the division alive…I just don’t see how!

rashad is cry baby. i think you should not fight team mates unless it’s a title fight because everyone wants the title. rashad didn’t have a problem with other 205 like jardine because he knew he could beat them. he didn’t like jones because he knew jones was a real threat and could beat him.

I’m really looking forward to watching this go down. Put all the arrogance aside because it’s difficult to judge someone’s character based on these promos, I personally think Rashad is incredibly over looked he’s an incredible fighter that being said it’s going to take one hell of a game plan to beat Jones. Jones understands distance very well and uses his length to his advantage, can Rashad close the gap and unleash combination en route to a take down that will have to be seen. Either way can’t wait for this fight.

I hate when I read comments like “He won’t”, “He can’t”, “There’s no way”…anything can happen…ask Matt Serra, ask the “Korean Zombie”, ask Werdum. Rashad wasn’t supposed to beat Chuck in UFC 88. I know Jones is dangerous but I think Rashad is smart, experienced, and athletic enough to pull something off.

First round knock out of rashad. As much as he wants it, bones is WAY better then him. He barely beat an out of shape rampage(jones beat an in shape rampage), got knock out by machida(jones beat machida).
Hes gonna try to bring it but then he’ll realise how much better jones is before the lights go out.

Matt Serra did the unthinkable against GSP, im sure Brock Lesnar (especially after the Carwin comeback)was deemed unstoppable.. its true what rashad said..anything can happen on any given day. if it turns out to be rashads day is a different story but i hope he pulls it off. i hope im wrong but i dont think it will be fireworks, i think both will be tentative because they both got too much face to lose

If Jon Jones beats Rashad I hope that he takes the Anderson Silva route/ Rich Franklin route and steps up to fight some of the Heavy weights soon. He’s just too damn much for that division! But time will tell.
