I think people are getting a little hung up on the semantics of “illegal substance” – it isn’t “illegal” in the sense of the law, its “illegal” in the sense that a professional fighter is not allowed to use it. Just like alcohol, steroids, various pain-killers etc.

So, while getting into a huge internet debate about legalization of pot is always fun… its a little irrelevant to this finding.

If you read the article i posted it is research and weed reacts differently to everyone. That being said it is an illegal substance and not allowed so he should and does know better. Nick is his own worse enemy. He didn’t want to follow through on his previous obligations and was reprimanded so he is trying something new.

I’m pretty sure smoking pot doesn’t do anything to enhance your performance. @k91st those examples are reaching. Taking an Aspirin
would probably do more good for you then smoking a joint.
