hope its not another beat down for GSP hes just been running thru ppl… lots goo condit!

Nobody in that weight class is going to do s*** –except possibly for Diaz. How many times is GSP going to have to clean out that division before they feed him to A Silva?

IMO Condit is the man of the moment. He lights up the cage like few are able. GSP got into a safe mode that he desperately wants out of. You can tell the dude wants to finish, but I don’t think he remembers how. I have nothing but respect for GSP as a fighter and as a human, but obviously what’s missing from his HL reels are the Subs and the KOs. Condit has GSP’s intelligence, utmost respect and professionalism + the killer instinct that GSP so obviously wants….Just not the wrestling.

Condit better train his sprawl and off his back, cuz GSP is gonna be shooting the whole fight.

condit is one of the most underrated fighter!

If GSP were ever to lose, it would be for this fight. Simply because GSP is not like Silva, in the sense that Silva can fight with a few minutes notice, and pick you apart. He studies mostly himself, and his opponent in the ring.

Georges, on the other hand, is a gameplan, visualize the defeat of his opponent, strategize for months kind of fighter.

This little upset with Diaz might throw him off his game.

I still think Georges is going to win, but, if, there were a time for him to lose, it would be this fight.

Regardless, GSP would murder him in the rematch.

Condit is a BEAST. Would love to see him beat George and shake up the division…plus imagine DIAZ VS. CONDIT!

@Beast and MMA Richmond: I agree. I think that Condit is specially dangerous to GSP, not because he is a better athlete, but because he has two big advantages: short-notice fight (Condit is much less dependent on studying the adversary than GSP) and sharp elbows and knees, including vicious elbows from the ground.
GSP will probably try to hold him down, but I think Condit manages to cut him from the bottom with an elbow (or 20).
I would put my money on Condit by Dr. stoppage or GSP by UD. However, as much as I think GSP is one of the top 3 fighters in the world, I am cheering for Condit by KO. Of course GSP will probably come back and manhandle Condit in a second fight just like he did to Serra, but I really want Condit to win and I think he has the best chances in the division to pull that upset. More than Diaz.

I laughed my ass off when I head Diaz was so afraid of GSP he ran away from his camp and didn’t step on the airplane. He’s an over hyped drug addict who did NOTHING in the UFC and will do nothing again. Carlos deserves a title shot. And then feed Diaz to Anthony Johnson for next title shot or Fitch can expose Diaz for being a bum for 3 rounds.

Condit’s take down defense is going to be a quick ass knee to George’s dome! He is not going to lay there with GSP on top, his elbows are sharper than Florian’s. I like the fact that this fight was set up to favor Diaz by not having it in Canada, but that is going to play into Condit’s hands even better. It’s not a neutral crowd, but it’s not 50 thousand screaming Canadians either!

Condit is a good fighter but its hard to believe he would beat GSP. yes he is very good compare to other fighters but GSP makes good fighters look bad, but you never know anything can happen in a fight any day!
