Can’t wait.

This one is a toss up… Rampage is very difficult to finish. The last time he was finished was in 2005 to Shogun due to soccer kicks in Pride and those are illegal in the UFC.

I would be very surprised if Jones can withstand 5 rounds of chin-cheks from Rampage (assuming Rampage can connect a few times flush)…

Jones’ camp are bold enough to directly strike with Rampage early then mix it up in the later rounds. Who ever wins i think it will be a split decision… But i am leaning toward Rampage who has more punching power.

JBJ is gonna beat poor old RJ into retirement, I can’t wait for this fight.

Rampage better be ready for Jones!

Easy win for jones.

After Rampage loses, maybe he can fight Shogun.

Lol. okay Bart Scott…. just kidding. Rampage has been one of my favorite fighters since the pride days. But bones Jones is an amazing talent. Don’t think Jones will try to stand with rampage because thats Jackson’s strength.

SinkTheHooks Says, in 9-2-2011 at 17:31:53 from

Nobody sleep on Q even Rashad couldnt finish him and he was dropping bombs on him. What I have seen in all of Jones fights is his length makes it hard for people to get off bottom and they get hurt the most trying to get up or stuck and choked out [exp vladimr matishiko (typo name)] Q is scary for anyone, I think he has the edge mentally but if he is patient he can get that wow ko if you remember the Chuck fight, it came like a theif in the night and sadly stole chucks chin.

JoeDog Says, in 9-2-2011 at 17:44:29 from

If Jones beats Jackson like a rag doll (like he did Rua, Hammill etc) then we know he is really the supernatural wonder he seems.

SEAN_VANCE Says, in 9-2-2011 at 17:55:28 from

Come on Rampage!….watch him get manhandled too, Ill kill myself

Great_White Says, in 9-2-2011 at 17:59:26 from

Same as above – “Can’t wait”

f_u Says, in 9-2-2011 at 18:29:44 from

The snitch now has his very own informants. Snitches get stitches, lets hope Rampage can pull it off.

IKnives Says, in 9-2-2011 at 18:49:55 from

It’s gonna be sick.

MMAGiantSilva Says, in 9-2-2011 at 19:08:43 from

This was ok I saw one with a similiar concept with GSP and Kosh that was way better and got me really pumped and thinking Kosh has a shot, boy was i wrong lol.

koolaid Says, in 9-2-2011 at 19:49:57 from

This card is not that great. I will pass at paying for PPV. Bones will dominate, Rampage is old and slow. Bones has excellent ways of neutralizing any of what Rampage will throw at him. Who cares about Hughes vs Sanchez and I’m rooting for Gomi, just because I would like to see the fireball kid on the winning streak again.

hond2dciv Says, in 9-2-2011 at 20:46:33 from

Big fights are too much pressure for thugs like Rampage and Diaz. Page is already cracking mentally. Diaz will implode in the week leading up to GSP. Both will lose.

CantStandRampage Says, in 9-3-2011 at 05:25:55 from

Whoa… UFC has Nike commercials now.

Easy pick: Bones

cigronne Says, in 9-3-2011 at 08:04:07 from

As much as I dig Rampage I don’t see any other outcome than Bones breaking him fast in a very easy fashion. At the end of the day, and seeing all his finishings and wins, Rampage is just a boxer and Bones the living prototype of a brand new mma fighter. Too well-rounded for the old glories to handle, posing threats from every aspect/angle of the game and on top of everything, the f****** body/reach advantage to almost everybody in that division…again, sad for Rampage, but easy very easy win for Bones.. he just needs to go up to the HW division asap, before he ends up killing some poor LHW fighter – not even Silva would pose a threat for him (THE BODY/REACH ADVANTAGE seems to be just BRUTAL).

Krauty McFly Says, in 9-3-2011 at 08:43:52 from

Why even bother to put up this fight? I love Rampage and hate Jones personally, but Bones is gonna tear through Quentin like its nothing.
Would love to see the upset though.

Krauty McFly Says, in 9-3-2011 at 08:46:10 from

“not even Silva would pose a threat for him” -
now that’s taking it a bit far. Come on.

MonsterJujitsu Sensei Says, in 9-3-2011 at 12:10:12 from

I suggest everyone go back and look at JBJ’s body of work so far in this game. I co-sign everything Cigrone said above. This will be a brutal execution of Rampage. Sad but inevitable….and I happen to like Rampage. Shogun tapped to strikes. Think about it.

Danby Says, in 9-3-2011 at 12:21:15 from

Jones has a 10 1/2 inch reach on rampage. I think he’ll be able to out strike him easily. Heck he could just put his hand on rampages head and it would be like those old cartoons. Rampage swinging while jones just sits there.

Danby Says, in 9-3-2011 at 12:21:46 from

oops 11 1/2 inch reach advantage i mean :S

LeonXIII Says, in 9-3-2011 at 15:35:19 from

For all of you who think this is an easy win for Jon Jones: You’re crazy. Bruno help me out here, I mean what the HELL is the matter with you people. Do you really think that Jon Jones can take Rampage down and hold him there? YOu’re insane. One punch from Rampage is all it’s going to take. Jon Jones may be the greatest talent but he’s probably going to demonstrate he does NOT have the chin to go along with that. Rampage by KO return of the champ.

KungFuLowKick Says, in 9-3-2011 at 20:46:29 from

How can you be sure Jones doesnt have chin??Did he ever got tested yet?I didnt see him get really punched hard in his career so dont assumptions like you make are ridiculous.
