Anthony Johnson at 176? That’s some really unprofessional shit. I was about to say it’s time guys started turning down these fights… but then I read about the 20 purse cut deal, and that seems fair.

On another note, Machida looked great, and Rua looked a bit drawn out. Still on the Shogun train, though.

Looks like the scale that commission uses is a digital scale from walmart. They are junk in my opinion. You could tell by the looks on some fighters face it was off.

Even-though i am a bigger Machida fan than Shogun fan but Shogun was winning at least 4 out of 5 rounds. He was rob by bias judges.

I’ve never been highly impressed by Machida or his back peddling Daniel Laruso style, but to his defense the commentators were grossly exaggerating Shogun’s performance.

Goldberg and Rogan would jizz every time shogun threw a kick, granted some of those were warranted, but c’mon the guy misses and you catch Mikey in the middle of a “ohh!” and my favorite “and another one Joe! how much more can Machida TAKE Joe?!”. Apparently 5 rounds of it dumbass.

If you watch the fight without all the verbal diarrhea the fight definitely feels a lot closer. Did Machida win UNANIMOUSLY? Did Shogun win DECISIVELY? They’re both a coin toss.

We’ll see at the rematch.
