Faber tried to setup a superman punch anticipating Tyson would move backwards or not at all… and he just ate a huge counter straight right.

Saw the fight live. Its a Griffin HL video so of course they slant it, but it was a highly competitive fight before the big shot in the 3rd round. If I remember correctly this fight was also at 155lbs

I think Faber has learned his lesson that he can’t get flashy against top tier fighters. He’s going to be way more conservative against Brown in their rematch and stick with the fundamentals. I still think he’s going to lose out due to Brown superior punching power but it should be a great fight. Brown via TKO in the second round!

I honestly think a rematch would be a good fight. I believe Faber has problems with guys who have good hands and solid ground. His standup is is suspect in my opinion. He has power but lack of skill costs him opening himself up to get hit. I would love to see this rematch on second thought lol
