without a doubt that would have killed me. Similar to the Pat Berry shot on Del Rosario. Pretty brutal.

Spong would be a good challenger in the UFC.He will lose to velasquez but will destroy dos santos if he decides to stand with him.
I also want Badr Hari to go to the UFC.You will see that Dos santos is just a B level striker.

B Level striker? And I suppose you can make that judgement because you are an A level critic. But I give you an F.

Yeah let’s put Spong with no ground game in the UFC… You fail.

More action than all of Jake Shields and Jon Fitch’s combined fights. Amazing!

Weird for that guy to get back up and seem fine, then willingly fall on his but to lose the fight. That and Spong’s second fight with the early stoppage in Spong’s favor.

Spong fights at 205 for mma. Spong took a good shot before delivering that too. Surprised he had his legs

@Smokingjoe.. How can you say that if the Reem beat both Spong and Hari and then loses to Big foot in a striking match for god sakes.

Facefrack Says, in 6-24-2013 at 00:35:33 from

Spong has fought in at least one pro MMA fight, which he won handily as it pretty much stayed on the feet if I remember right. If he’s still over at Blackzillions, he’s got a lot of people to work on his ground game with n is probably doing so in anticipation of testing himself in MMA again. He’ll probably be over in the UFC soon enough.

Also, Dos Santos has excellent boxing n good takedown defense. He’s obviously not unbeatable n would need to figure out what to do with Cane Velasquez’s wrestling intensity to win against him reliably… But he’s also got a lot of power n is very quick for a heavyweight. Spong, on the other hand, would probably come in n fight LHW or even MW, I’m guessing.

Man that was insane how Spong just stood in the pocket and measured him with his left while Duut was throwing heat. That’s where a lot of these kickboxers could benefit from more boxing training, u see how his hands were down and was throwing wild. He shouldnt of walked into that k.o like that.
