Spong can definitely mix it up on the feet, it will be interesting when he goes to the ground tho. I still find a lot of boxers/ Kick boxers etc. that still don’t rate ground fighters (in my country at least) and just think that they won’t be taken down. They are naive to it. I’m not saying Spong is in this boat, I’m just hoping we see him as well-rounded as possible. Sure his strength is always going to be his stand up. But it would be cool to see him at least be able to survive when he gets put on his back. Ps. Aussie Nathan ‘Carnage’ Corbett beat Spong in Jamaica 2 years ago, but was robbed due to atrocious refereeing! Go Aussie!
